Site 3: first come, first served
Don's property is really nice. We camped right next to the water and I was fortunate enough to see two otters! The birdsong was beautiful and we enjoyed the fire late into the evening. I highly recommend!

Beautiful site, rain or shine :)
I stayed here a week with my husband and two dogs tent camping, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. It rained the first couple days but the grounds are well-maintained and thoughtfully cared for so drainage was good. Had a relaxing time listening to rain, tons of birds and singing frogs while catching up on reading. The rest of the week was sunny and warm, and we had a blast hanging out with our dogs by the relaxing tree swing by a field of wildflowers. The hosts were warm, kind, communicative, accommodating and checked in on us to make sure we were okay and had what we needed. Toilets were clean, the provided well water was fresh, and the road and sites are maintained and accessible which makes a huge difference as well. Grateful for the chance to experience some must needed nature time on their gorgeous land — excited to visit again someday!

Serene Bird Watching
This was our first camping spot as we headed to the coast. It was perfect! Don's property is really beautiful and the camping spots back onto a marsh area full of birds and beautiful plants. Waking up to the sound of the birds was so serene. If you love birds, bring your camera. Don was an awesome host! You can tell he really takes care of his property and wants to ensure his guests are comfortable and enjoy themselves. The Porta-potties were clean and easily accessible from all the sites. Each site has its own fire pit along with a wooden bench. The town of Elma is nearby so if you need groceries or a quick run for anything, it was easy to get to. And being able to meet the resident goats was icing on the cake. We would absolutely return!

Don’s place was super nice. Easy to pull a large trailer in and just a great spot on the small lake. Great sunsets and Don had fire wood all set up next to the fire pit for us when we got there. Anytime we are back down that way, we are staying there again for sure!

Great stay and memories!!
This place is absolutely incredible. Took my two daughters and there were so many animals, both farm and wildlife and birds. Don was such. Gracious host and even taught my girls how to drive a tractor. So many great memories on this trip. We will be back again and again for sure!

Must Stay
We had an amazing time at Don’s sight. On arrival we received a warm welcome. We chose to car camp, but the ground is nice and level for camping. He has water and bathrooms on sight and lights to help lead the way. The land itself is beautiful with river otters to watch and friendly goats! If you go soon you’ll meet the sweetest baby goat Bucky! I highly recommend this place. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay again. Don is such a nice guy with amazing stories and open to suggestions on how to improve. We can’t thank him enough for the great stay and conversations.
