Serenity Hill
I followed the Hipcamp directions to a site but it didn’t look like site pictured so I sent a message to Cat and she immediately responded with an escort to the actual site. Thank you! (The Hipcamp directions take you to the place where you can be escorted to the site that’s located beyond a road blocked by a cable.) I loved the privacy and seclusion but the advertised “toilet” was nowhere to be seen. (Perhaps they meant the portapotty by the first site but it is driving - not walking - distance away. I left early in the am for nearby Brooks Memorial State Park and their toilet.)
Nice, private site but I only stay in Hipcamps with toilets available. This site was not it.

Great spot, not too far off the freeway. Excellent privacy in a nature filled area with a nice path to walk. Fire pit and water were provided.

Complete Privacy and Silence
As everybody mention Catalina is awesome. Much like camping on DNR land but all to yourself. Agates and more agates! It's crazy. Beautiful woods

Car Camping - one night stay
Cathalinas directions were very clear and her property is beautiful! She met me upon arrival and told me about the area. She mentioned she lived on a rock quarry and you can dig for agates. I found one on my morning walk with my pup. I really appreciated her communication and supplying water & firewood for me. I would definitely stay here again so I could take in the views of my hood on a clear and less windy day. Thank you Cathalina!

Great secluded camping spot!
I enjoyed my stay here, the site was in a secluded and spacious area so I didn’t see or hear any other campers. The host was quick to communicate with, and also provided water and firewood which was unexpected but made my stay awesome.
One thing to note for tent campers- bring a thick footprint and extra padding for the ground as it’s on rocks/gravel.

Kind and gracious host
This may not be your average review. I did not make it to this hip camp due to an emergency that occurred on my trip. When I called to cancel my reservation last minute, I assumed I would have to pay for it. Cathalina did not ask why I was canceling with such short notice, was gracious and kind, and proactively said she would refund my money. I would go there again and recommend it to anybody due solely to her attitude.
