VIEW - 'The Valley View'
While the views from “The View” were just as described, the rest of our stay felt a bit lacking unfortunately. We arrived at camp around about an hour before sunset and struggled to find which site was ours since there was limited signage. Luckily some other campers pointed out which sites they had seen when they set up camp and helped us find our way to the site. Once we got there it felt private, with camp table and fire pit already set up. We slept in our car so we had no need for tents. Unfortunately we weren’t able to fully enjoy the view and the environment because there was a recording of bird noises that seemed to go on continuously from 5:30am to 9:30pm on a loop, apparently to protect the nearby orchard during cherry season. It was disruptive enough that we kept inside our car for most of the stay and left soon after we got up. This may not be an issue at other times of the year, as others have noted how quiet the site usually is, but it would have been worth a warning in advance.

VIEW - 'The Valley View'
The "View" is a solid description, the view is fantastic, looking over Rose and Wapato lakes and the far side of Lake Chelan. It is also quiet with deer, marmots, and many birds.
This was our first "boondocking" with our trailer and was a little "rougher" than expected. From the website overview it seemed like we would be camping on winery grounds with access to a tasting room and a place to shower.
In reality it was parking in an apple orchard with the water source from a hose near the entrance and the nearest porta-potty a 1 mile round trip.
Marcus is a hard working farmer trying to realize his dreamand we wish him luck, but for us this was a little on the rough side for trailering.

A Bit Elusive, But a Good Camp
I’m sorry to report that we had a difficult time finding any site, let alone the site we had reserved.
There were no guiding HipCamp signs and we ended up driving around looking for what might be a HipCamp.
Thankfully, an orchard worker guided us to a nice spot where we were able to set up camp.
We enjoyed the site and its great view and appreciated the excellent firewood and the family of photogenic marmots who lived in the firewood pile. We would come back again but would appreciate some signage.

CYN 'Hidden Canyon'
So glad we went!
Marcus’s properties are fantastic. We walked several options and saw the special features of all his listings.
The Canyon listing is private and stunning. A good distance from the road your stay is remote within the rocks. The view property lives up to its name, orchards behind you and views to the front (stunning). The mountain properties #1 and #2 were flat and had valley views, orchards behind, and nicely surrounded by trees.
You really can’t go wrong, depend on the rig you arrive in and your camping style, I’d pic which one works for you because you’ll be happy at any.
Marcus came to meet us and he answered all our location and farming questions. Great guy, you can tell he loves his properties and cares about you enjoying your visit.
Highly recommend, central to everything. Couple miles from a variety of parks (also an off leash doggo swimming park)! Couple miles from Blueberry Hill Farms which has amazing pies, breakfasts, and a Cinnamon roll (with apples and blueberries) that was about the size of my head.
Can’t wait to visit again!

FLD 'The Field Between '
This land was private and nice, had a good view (the Field, but the View has the best view and is a bit smaller), the host was available and nice. No complaints!

Jaw dropping views
Absolutely beautiful camping spot! Seriously the best view of the valley and lakes below. Marcus is the sweetest and left us a bottle of wine at our campsite while we were out bike riding. Thank you so much for that, Marcus. Saw tons of wildlife and befriended a family of marmots who took up residence next to our tent. He recently renumbered his camp sites and we stayed at site four. Out of all the sites, it has the best views and is super private with level ground for a tent. From site four the porta potty was about a ten minute walk and the shower was about a four minute walk. Although, over memorial day weekend, the shower water was still really cold. Overall an amazing camping experience. We'll definitely camp there again. Thanks again, Marcus. Good luck with your upcoming season!
