Hi there, this destination was my vision for food forest done right, eggs and vegetables during regular season. a place where you could resupply, relax in a wooded surrounding while being in walking distance to all the towns functions, Dog friendly but must be leashed. Tools available for a traveler needed to make an unforeseen mechanical repairs upon granted permissionEnjoy a wooded stay at the Edgewood food forest, a place where chickens and ducks 🦆 🐓 roam and forage the forest, eggs and produce are available when in season as well, less than 2 miles from lake rosinger and walking distance to town, lots of hikes and outdoor Motorsports in every fashion, maybe you just want to chill? Maybe you want to plant 🌱 and learn more about farming, either way.. we welcome you Dog friendly but must be leashed 🐕 🐩 🐶

John was responsive and friendly in communication and helpful with the booking process! The campsite itself was quiet and as pictured in the listing. We were not aware beforehand that the entire surface on the ground would be manure, so the members of our group who were tent camping were unpleasantly surprised, and ended up getting a hotel. We were comfortable in our trailer, although leveling was very difficult due to the soft ground. We ended up leaving a night early, since the purpose of the trip was to camp with friends, and they couldn't tent camp comfortably. We enjoyed the chickens wandering around and the quiet location. It is near the road, so we heard a couple of louf vehicles, but nothing different from any other campground. If you're looking for a home base to set up your RV or trailer while adventuring, this is for you. If you have kids that want to spend lots of time outside playing, or you want to spend time with a group outdoors at the site, be prepared that the ground is manure.
