Enjoy the private campsite with ample space for family fun and cool quiet nights on the sandy edge of the Cowlitz River. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and a large trash can. All campsite will have their own pathway to the river with seasoned blackberries to pick! I ask to help keep our environment as natural as possible pick up after yourselves and your furry friends. River Alder
Peaceful by the river
My kiddo and I had a great time camping in the Alder campground. The river was really high and while our direct beach was flooded, Angela pointed us to another one we could use. We saw deer and geese as well as a ton of other birds. It was very relaxing and we appreciated the trash can in camp and bathrooms nearby. The firewood that we ordered was a bit wet but with some extra effort and drying the wood around the lot fire, we made it work. Will definitely be back

Lovely spot!
We had a lovely time on Angela’s land and she was a terrifically friendly and helpful host! The river had a nice sandy beach perfect for playing and we caught little fish and the kids LOVED playing in the sand at the campsite. Everything was clean and thoughtfully put together!

River Camp
Private spot right by the river
Great little spot by the river. It felt very private and away from other campers. Angela had firewood for us when we arrived! Great place to stay for a quick night out right off I-5.

So so amazing 🥰😍
Was just amazing. She met us there, showed us around, was so kind to my son and our pup and spent lots of time on the most small details to make sure it was all just perfect. I’ll definitely be back!!!

A little bit of everything!
Angela’s property is amazing! Our two families had an absolutely great time. So much to explore and room to play! The kids absolutely loved the sandy beach and swinging in their hammocks under the trees at camp. If you’re looking for something that really feels like you’re not at a campground this is a great option. You can see and somewhat hear the camps next to you but there is enough space that it wasn’t an issue. Angela was attentive and a wonderful host! She even brought down a cool critter for our kids to enjoy. Our two families highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back.
