Welcome to Dean’s! Eight minutes off Highway 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest between national parks, before or after crossing the US / CA border, or to set up base camp to explore Seattle / Tacoma. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. We ban fires during the peak of summer to avoid the issue of wildfires entirely. Propane stoves are welcome. We do not have a check in cut-off time tho reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. With that being said, the 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. They are available 24 / 7 for any questions or requests you may have. Amazing getaway

This was an amazing spot and hidden Gem. We had plans fall through and they helped us get same day accommodations which was a tremendous lifesaver. We travel providing education and humanitarian aid and on the road non-stop this was a nice campground that gave us a relaxing break under the moonlight.

Great private spot for two!

My partner & I loved this campsite! It was exactly what we were looking to find. It’s not far from town and the host was always available for contact if we needed anything. The spot was surprisingly private and perfectly sized for a two person setup. It was also pleasantly quiet with very few city noises despite being inside a residential neighborhood. A great spot to get away from the city without fully committing to the wilderness for a few days.

Eagle's Nest

It was but difficult to find and there was a lot more sites at the camp then listed. There is no amenities house as shown in the photos but other then that it was peaceful and quiet and we were left alone the whole time. Camp felt pretty safe aswell.

Excellent campsite and host

We loved staying at Dean's campgrounds! It was peaceful and a breath of fresh air. There is a clean bathroom, and clear signs to find your campsite. The host, Marlee, is very responsive and quick to get you what you need. We will definitely be coming back!
