"Welcome to Dicks Last Resort on the River. Voted “ Best Campsite in Washington State Runner Up” 2022 and 2023. Our 16 acre private riverfront property is located on the Dungeness River just outside the city of Sequim in Clallam County on the Olympic Peninsula. There are just two very large campsites. Each site can accommodate two RV’s or just a bunch of tents. You will have full access to the parcel allowing you to explore or just hang out at the river. We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs can be off leash this vacation The nearest towns are Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Victoria B.C., and Sequim where you’ll find restaurants, wineries, and more. The nearest attractions are Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Discovery Trail, Ferry Dock to Victoria B.C., Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rainforest where you can enjoy activities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, winter activities, hiking, biking, etc. Also, you can ride directly from the campsite to some fabulous mountain biking trails at Dungeness Trails. PLEASE NOTE, Both sites are equipped with an additional RV parking spot right on the river with 30 amp power and Wifi for an additional $45.00 per night. PLEASE ADD THIS AS AN EXTRA AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. Summer annual events include the Lavender Festival and Irrigation Festival."

Best site I have stayed at.
This site is a jewel, the river is close and its sound is so calming. The hosts clearly put a lot of work and care into these sites, including decks, table, prep area, and lighting. We stayed 3 nights and wish it had been longer. We will be back!

A peaceful oasis
We had a wonderful time at Dick’s Last Resort. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The campsite was generous size, immaculate and extremely peaceful. A pristine private port-a-potty is an unexpected treat! Even the WiFi worked well. The only noise was the rushing river and the wind in the trees. Perfect!

Beautiful June camping
Wonderful stay. The location right by the creek and the well maintained grounds make this a winner. We loved having the picnic shelter for easy outdoor meal prep. The kids enjoyed spotting frogs and deer on the property. Close to Sequim for amenities (groceries and restaurants) and we also drove to Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge for a morning hike along the spit (beautiful!). A neighbor was sawing a fallen tree Saturday afternoon which created some noise, but Richard was very proactive in making it right. This is a host who deeply cares. We would love to stay again.

We had such an amazing experience staying at Dicks Last Resort. We chose site 1, which had a gorgeous view of the river. There was enough space for two vehicles or trailers and multiple spots for tents. The area was extremely clean and well groomed. Dogs are allowed off leash (my Oakley had got the zoomies as soon as we arrived!) Best part was how peaceful it was. 10/10 would stay again!

The PNW at its best
This is a fantastic site, beautifully maintained and right by the Dungeoness! Secluded and equipped for RV's and camping, it was perfect. Richard and Vikki were responsive and welcoming. I fully recommend booking with them and look forward to going back.
