Small cozy cabin with lofted sleeping area in the woods around the Duckabush river and Hood Canal. Includes kitchen area with potable water. Has electricity, heat, and satellite wifi, outhouse with chemical toilet. Close to hiking and boating. Private boat launch and shellfish beach. Stock tank hot tub, fire pit, BBQ.Drive your car along the secluded dirt road just off the Duckabush river. The 228ft cabin sits on a knoll overlooking a clearing with room for your car. Forest bathe by marveling at the mature trees and the wildlife, including occasional visits from resident Roosevelt Elk. The cabin provides cozy accommodations for 2 in the sleeping loft with a full sized stove, small microwave, fridge and potable water in the kitchen area. Heat, light, and somewhat spotty satellite wifi keep you comfortable and connected in the event of an emergency while you relax and unwind. Outside enjoy the fire pit, stock tank hot tub, and chemical toilet in the outhouse. Explore the nearby river, Hood Canal (a fjord known for shellfish) or hike around the Olympic National Forest.

Perfect Getaway!

Forest Glen Cabin

I stayed five days! Luckily I was able to extend. What a wonderful experience with so many fun amenities. Bed was very comfortable, lots of cooking utensils, full stove and microwave. Lots of games and a great place to throw an axe or do a cold plunge. So many great trails and parks nearby …. access to a private boat launch at Olympic tracts. The communication was above and beyond, thank you so much Michael ! I will most definitely be coming back. *Oh the rain on the roof every night was perfect, not loud, it was so soothing/ calming!

Forest Glen Cabin

Amazing location and features for the price! Cabin is a cute cozy lil lofted cabin with all the necessities for cooking, sleeping and exploring. There is not a place to shower but there is a cowboy tub which gets warm, that you can heat yourself. It is on a shared lot with some neighbors who were not present most of my visit, but other than that it pretty secluded and v close to the river. Host was also very kind and responsive! I don't know that dogs will be able to get up into the loft to sleep up there as the ladder is quite steep. Definitely definitely definitely worth the money.

Forest Glen Cabin

Michael thought of everything reality! The cabin has all you would need and more. Surrounded by lush green and within you’ll find warmth and coziness. Really the perfect place to stay after exploring the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Budget friendly and dogs are welcome! Twas easy to find, even in the dark when I arrived. Cannot recommend this place enough. I will most definitely be back soon!

Forest Glen Cabin

The photos are not really representative of the experience of staying at this cabin, the cabin is very visible from many other buildings around it, the ceiling is unfinished, and a huge ladder and telescope took up a lot of room. Food was expired in cabinet as well. The toilet situation is awful with a very confusing setup. At least it was cheap.
