Within a 60-minute drive from the North Cascades National Park Complex Headquarters and Visitor Information.
Helianthus Acres is a shy 6 acre working farmstead. We grow vegetables, raise sheep, and live just moments from town. Come relax while you enjoy watching the eagles soar, or the sheep graze. Alternatively, let our farm be your landing spot at the end of your days of adventure at one of the many local mountain biking, hiking, and paddling sites.
Fresh eggs, hand blended teas, and easy access to town amenities awaits you. We do live on a main road so there is road noise. We also have livestock guardian dogs, they often bark at night to keep coyotes away. Please bring/ask for ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!Set up your tent or ours, in the privacy on the point overlooking the Ten Mile Creek. Enjoy views of the horse farm across the creek bed and the eagles nest out back. The site is sheltered beneath a young forest of mixed deciduous and coniferous trees. Red wing black birds, humming birds, and a variety of other wildlife can be heard and witnessed. There is potable water on site, compost toilet, and a beautiful farm to explore.
Please note, access to this site requires walking a significant distance, more than 100ft with your belongings. We can assist you with a riding lawnmower/or hand cart. We are a working farm, with livestock, livestock guardian dogs, closing gates and keeping pets leashed is essential. This is our home and livelihood, please be respectful of signs and quiet hours.
