I'm a 3rd generation farmer, working the same land as my father and grandfather. Hidden Acres Orchards is a 60 acre, u-pick fruit, vegetable, and flower farm. Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, there are no designated spots. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS.

Hidden Acres Orchards
Nicholas's orchard experience was above and beyond what we expected! To set up the trailer just across from the fruit trees with that view, contrasted with the open, sweeping views on the opposite side, provided a peaceful, restful camp site. I was impressed with how clean the farm was. Not only that, old farming machinery was neatly placed away from the orchard in an obviously well maintened area, even organized by the type of equipment, instead of being left to rust in some random spot, which is the norm for other farms we have seen. Nicholas and his wife welcomed us warmly and answered our questions to help us settle in. Their jam shop is, like the rest of their farm, clean and organized, and they have a great assortment of products. The farm animals were fun to watch as we walked around the farm, and again, pens and buildings so clean! Thank you Nicholas, for sharing your beautiful land through Hip Camp so others can enjoy what you have worked so hard to create! We hope to stay again in the fall while visiting family in the area!!

Hidden Acres Orchards
Great host, fantastic spot!
Nick and his family were amazing hosts! They were right there when we pulled in to recommend favorite spots given the size of our rig and any areas to maybe keep an eye out for. We took the dogs on a walk to go scope out where we’d camp for the weekend, and then towed it over and easily disconnected given how relatively level everything was! It was early June when we stayed so there was little foot traffic besides other campers and the hosts themselves tending to the orchard or other sites. Their dog, Bella, came up to ours while they were on leads to investigate and despite our dogs barking at her she never barked back. A few reminders for her to go home and she was on her way, not an issue at all! It’s her home and she was just seeing who was there. This was an amazing trip for my dog’s birthday and we would recommend this to anyone looking to spend some time at Green Bluff!! Given the proximity to the jam shop and things too it was amazing how private this area felt!!

Tent camping
Perfect place to pitch our tent for the night under the old apple trees. Woke up to the sound of roosters and chickens and saw a friendly property dog. Beautiful property & farmstead. Would be a fun place to have a family reunion!

Hidden Acres Orchards
We had a great time at Hidden Acres this weekend! Only a few other campers and the orchard was really quiet the whole weekend. The store was open, bathrooms clean, and easy access to water. Great relaxing get away close to town. (Try the freeze dried organic apples from the farm store!)
