Will is a Star Host

The property is a 20 acre farm/homestead producing hay, chickens, berries, and much else. We are located near Rockport, underneath Sauk Mountain, near the confluence of the Sauk and Skagit rivers. We use permaculture/organic/regenerative methods. There’s a historic barn on the Property. We are located about a mile from Howard Miller Steelhead Park and the Town of Rockport, not far from North Cascades National Park. when you get here please feel free to drive on the grass to the tent.We provide a luxury camping experience with an unparalleled view. The 26’x14’ tent is built on a cedar floor and has a queen size bed (bring your own bedding), a sitting area and dining table, power, water, lighting, and a porch for taking in the sunset. Located next to a grove of black walnut trees, hence the name. A perfect base camp for exploring the Upper Skagit Valley and North Cascades.

Everything was as described. Awesome view of the mountains and dark sky at night for star gazing. Location was perfect for exploring North Cascades National Park.

Our first "Glamping" experience and it was so great! A big step up from tent/car camping!! Will greeted us upon arrival and offered some great tips on hikes and where to eat. Used this as "base camp" as we explored North Cascades National Park and it was lovely. We plan on returning!

Mixed feelings

Firstly it’s a gorgeous idyllic location. We arrived at 9:30 and there was no one to meet us or tell us where the tent was. Another person who was staying there pointed it out to us and also was kind enough to show us where the out house was. I didn’t read the whole listing and arrived without bedding. Needless to say we were very cold. The instructions in the tent noted that there was a space heater but there wasn’t. I had booked this location for another stay about a month ago but they contacted me a couple weeks prior and canceled my visit bc they had forgotten about a family event that they needed the accommodation for. So while it’s a beautiful location, I’m not sure if I could recommend staying there.

Sweet getaway
Everything was exactly as described. Very comfortable and relaxing! Will brought us peaches which were delicious. I look forward to coming back again for more star gazing.
