This property is currently in development. It offers tranquility, with occasional visits from deer. River access is just a short distance away, providing opportunities for fishing, sunbathing, or floating along the Cowlitz River. Conveniently located near the towns of Kelso and Longview, and only 2.7 miles from Castle Rock. Some full hookups are available, along with ample dry camping areas. Horses are welcome on the property. No fireworks allowed.

Easy to get to, nice large space, super friendly and responsive host, quiet and peaceful. River access down the trail. We enjoyed our stay!

The peace, feeling like we were the only ones there, but when we arrived there were two other campers, and it was clean. The walk to the river was 9 minutes.

Everything was as advertised. Owners were responsive and accommodating. Plenty of privacy. Good sites. Only down side was the fine powder dust likely volcanic. If you have dogs this can be a challenge. Everything is perfect otherwise

A great save for our camping trip

J Squared River Ranch is a beautiful, clean property. It was a last minute booking on an evening after finding out our original destination has been closed. Two hours later we were able to arrive at a roomy, clean camp site to start setting up tents. We stayed at Coyote Cove. Trees and bushes were adequately cleared but there were still enough around to feel secluded and to hang your hammocks. Tree canopy was sparse enough that we could see the stars from our tents. Well water spigot & hose, trash bins, and porta potty were conveniently steps away from the site. River access was a 10 minute stroll, and the host graciously let us drive our truck as far as we could to move our kayaks. Couldn't ask for a better plan B!
