We had such a good time!! My dog Poppy had a great time roaming the property, and playing in the river. The property is in a really private area and it was so relaxing!

No complaints, all good !!!
We rolled in and had the whole place all to ourselves, took #2 site which is a very short walk to the river. The area is beautiful and peaceful, the sound of the river is great way to unwind. Loved the Mazama store and the Public House is an excellent place for dinner and cider. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

Nice and spacious, and of course a great location! No water/electricity available when we stayed but we didn’t need that, just needed a base camp for hikes in the area, which this campground is perfect for!

Great spot- quiet, lots of tree cover, plenty of room. Easy drive to Mazama and Winthrop. Would definitely recommend.

Site 2 w/River Views
This site is a private clearing in the woods in the quaint town of Mazama. We parked our pickup camper in site 2. You could just peep the river out the back door. The river was super low but still had a few pristine swimming hole spots. Power and water connection were easy, hosts directions were spot on. The site was private as we were the only ones there, had there been other folks camping it wouldn’t have felt the same as there’s no privacy between sites. The only bummer of the whole thing is the wildfire that broke out the night before our arrival. It was really smoky, ash was falling through the air, hindered the experience. The fire also prompted the closure of Hwy 20 to the west, which meant we couldn’t complete our trip through the North Cascades. Ideally the host could have shared a little insight regarding conditions. Overall really cool site just unfortunate circumstances.
