Riverside Site #4
Great location, nice to hear the water going in the creek/river as you lay in your tent :) the only downside was the shower was ice cold.

Riverside Site #4
It was a great location, and nice to have a real toilet and hot shower. It wasn't nicely kept however, the grass was quite long, the sign to show the way to the tent area was down and there was a bunch of garbage in the fire pit as some examples. Not bad, just not a nicely groomed, neat place.

Lovely
Lovely spot close to the river. Very enjoyable. Cold shower is fresh if you're into that kind of stuff (No warm water).

50' RV space with hook-ups
Great place to relax and take a hot shower after a good hike at Diablo Lake. Well maintained and quiet at night. Peaceful sound of the creek water.

Riverside Large Campsite #5
Friends and dogs
We had such a lovely time! We were able to set up two tents in the spot (with a bit of squeezing) and slept easily to the sound of the rushing river. Our dogs had a lot of space to run around and everyone else's dogs were friendly and non-disruptive. The community fire pit is a great place to make friends with other campers and the open area allowed us to share games. We felt safe enough to leave our tents and gear while we headed off to the national park for a hike. There's coffee and a general store an easy 8-10 minute walk away. If you want dry firewood you should bring your own. Toilets are fully functional and the shower had warm water with a nice showerhead.
Riverside Group Site 1&2 (2 tents)
First ruined family camping
Overall we had some ups and downs. We booked Campsite 1 and 2 which stated it had space to accommodate two tents. We arrived and quickly realized there was also a third spot right next to us, space number 5, that left us with no privacy. The community fire pit was centered equally between the campsites, with enough room to leash your dogs near your tents, without interfering with your neighbors. Down comes a young couple and their two dogs who booked space 5. An hour or so later another couple arrives with their one off-leashed dog, mine are inside of my porch tent. Three tents later on the same lot, with the picnic table, and their dogs on overly long leads, my space felt infringed upon. Our dogs had to stay in the tent, theirs got to take the entire camp ground. We used the designated pads to place our tents, paying for 2 tent placements, they paid for one spot, that had 3 tents spilling into the shared space. We preordered 3 bundles of wood at $7 each as we expected to utilize the fire pit area for most cooking needs and the ability to stay warm. Our firewood was no where to be found when we arrived, and apparently the neighbor is the person who holds the firewood. It was SOAKING WET! The bundles were not usable. We ended our trip a day early.
However, the sound of the river is stunning. The location of the place is way out into natures heart.
If I was to return I would book #4 or #1, #2 and #5 in order to maintain some sort of desired privacy and promised space.
