Come and experience a nature safari on the Lewis River! Depending on what time of year you visit us, you are sure to see the pair of resident bald eagles soaring above their nest, sea lions diving for salmon or smelt, flocks of sandhill cranes and migrating geese - even the occasional squadron of pelicans! Take the kayaks up the river to scout for beaver dens and otters, or paddle down to the sandy beaches at the confluence with the Columbia River for a picnic or sundowners. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, or stargaze on clear nights. If you enjoy wildlife and rivers, you are certain to have an adventure with us on the Lewis. There is space for up to a 45 foot Class A motorhome or trailer/truck combo of similar size on the graveled parking area. Newly installed drive-thru site parking. Depending on your RV main door configuration and preferences…the option to enter the site either from the East or from the West is available. Please note that the property is a work in progress and is in the process of being lovingly restored! Watch your step on the planks - some are uneven and can be slippery in wet weather. There are numerous kayaks, which are free to use. There is also a porta-loo for the public on site. Have a wonderful stay!

Unsafe kayak launch, generous Host
We ended up not staying. There were several factors that led to the decision. The location, while off the side of the road, would be perfect for RV, but for us we were tent camping; 83yo Mom, 62yo sister, and myself 55yo woman. The ground was gravel so staking a tent for us would be impossible, the kayak launch off the very dilapidated dock was also impossible and the reason we selected this was to kayak, however it would be impossible to navigate around the structure to get to the launching point. For us the site didn’t work, however those much younger and in better shape to navigate would probably find this site delightful. Everett quickly communicated and refunded us, even when he didn’t have to. He went above and beyond and even expressed he hopes we find a place to kayak. We did. Thank you Everett.

Overall, the campsite was good but I think it is quite expensive for what it is. This camp site is really just a spot on the side of the road, and doesn’t offer many amenities apart from a portapotty and picnic table. No complaints about it, just wish it was priced better.

Good stay
Wonderful staying along the Lewis river with the Columbia River just down the street. We drove our 40 foot motorhome down onto his driveway. A bit of intimidating to drive down the driveway at first, but ended up fine. Got treated to watching a seal having breakfast in the middle of the river this morning for about 20 minutes. He was splashing around quite a while. …I think he was having salmon. It was very peaceful and a good stay.

The 2 sites are well maintained with a clean port-a-potty. The downsides are that at times the traffic is quite loud and the river access is basically non-existent as the structure has fallen into disrepair.
