Ohh Ship Beach Camp is located on Puget Island in the middle of the Columbia River. When you book a stay here, you get TWO large RV parking spots, both with 30A power and a shared water hookup. Both spots are on level ground with gravel pads and plenty of room to pull in or back in your vehicles. We have a picnic table and a large fire pit with seating to enjoy a campfire. Walk, run, or ride bikes on the flat roads on the Island. Swim, fish, boat, kayak, or jet ski on the Columbia River. The boat launch and septic dump are located a few miles away at the Cathlamet Marina. The town of Cathlamet has many local spots to eat and drink, including River Mile 38 Brewing Company, Maria's Place (Mexican), The Spar (American), Patty Cakes (Coffee), The Cottage Bread and Breakfast, and many more. Enjoy yourself while you watch the ships go by.....it's the ultimate relaxing spot on the beach!When you book a stay here, you get TWO large RV parking spots, both with 30A power and a shared water hookup. Both spots are on level ground with gravel pads and plenty of room to pull in or back in your vehicles. You'll enjoy free Wi-Fi, a large picnic table, and a large fire pit with seating. Ohh Ship Beach Camp

We've lived in Portland for 4 years and never knew this little heaven existed but we sure wish we did!! This was the perfect place for us to set up our chair listen to the birds, the waves and soak up the sun and salty air! We could feel our shoulders melt. Plus! It was so much fun to get to watch the big boats go by - we felt like little kids again! Thank you so much for sharing your land with us! We can't wait to come back and show our friends - we can't stop raving about it!

Ship Watching Delight!

AMAZING views! We enjoyed watching so many big ships go by. So private too! Host was kind and immediately responsive. Could not recommend more. Bring layers just in case a quick storm rolls through, rain boots for kids to play in the sand, and a picnic blanket for a great am yoga session with the beach all to yourself!

The site was beautiful. Our family loved watching the ships pass by… all the kids would race to the beach to watch. The weather wasn’t fantastic so we didn’t get to really use the picnic table or fire ring much but both were really nice. Gabe was very fast and kind with all communications. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Pretty, peaceful views.

Nice river views. Peaceful & quiet. We booked this quick overnighter to test our new motorhome. It was a blustery day but worked out so we could test out all our amenities. Will come back when we can utilize the cute fire pit and shoreline walk. Gabe was very attentive and got back to me asap with any questions we had.

Awesome beach camping!

We had such a great time at Ohh Ship Beach Camp! Great communication from the host Gabe. We were greeted by neighbor Jeff who made sure everything was just right! Level parking and two large spots for two RVs or parking for boat. Everything was as described, big ships, lots of beach and wifi provided by the host. We will come back!

A treasure on the Columbia

Such a great stay at Ooh Ship. First warm weekend of spring, sunny skies, beautiful beach, watching giant ships pass by, sea lions bob in the water and bald eagles fly overhead! Such a lovely spot and wonderful host. Neighbours were super friendly and made us feel at home too! Would definitely come back.
