Olson Campsite #2 is located near Rialto Beach in Forks, WA. We host another campsite and three cabin rentals. The owner of the property lives on site with his black lab named Pepper. The area is surrounded by a lot of natural beauty and lush greenery. The campsite is nestled under the trees and is very peaceful.Olson Campsite #2 hosts a fire pit with two chairs. There is a sanican, trash can, and potable water provided. The tent site is under a blanket of trees. We do host another campsite that shares the same entrance as well. We do host other guests so we just ask guests to be mindful of others while camping. Rialto Beach is located 2.6 miles from the campsite and Three Rivers restaurant is 2 miles away. The address is 2423 Mora Rd. When turning into the property, drive straight down the gravel road. When you see the sign for Olson Cabin 2&3, keep driving straight until you see the trash bin and sanican. You’ll see a sign that says “Glamping”. Turn right and pull forward until you see a sign for Campsite #2 parking. Please do not block the entrance. The campsite will be on the right.

The location is sweet and pretty, and being close enough to watch the sunset/full moon rise at Rialto beach is why we made this late and hasty reservation, but the price that HipCamp charged was almost $25.00 above what was advertised. This is a shocker when it comes to tent camping. If I am spending $72.00 on a tent site, I want something really unusual or special - not a port-a-potty and chainlink fence.

Great property, perfectly situated for those needing a home base while exploring the Olympic National Forest (or Rosario and La Push), awesome amenities, host was very hospitable!

Nice spot. Good distance from the other spot. Didn’t feel as woodsy as I hoped as you can see the back yard from the site. Worth the headache of finding a campsite on a busy weekend

Overall it was a good experience. Beautiful area and very quiet. It was great having a sanican on site. It’s also located close to Rialto Beach. I don’t think I would call it “glamping” like the sign said. It was clear no one had camped there before - there wasn’t a cleared off spot to put a tent, so we just put it where it seemed to work and the ground was fairly level. The fire pit was new and the paint fumes were pretty bad when we made a fire. The parking situation was a little unclear - we reached out to the host for clarification. A picnic table or some sort of little table would have been nice. Again, overall it was nice.
