Come and experience the beauty of Samish Island at this private high bank campsite. Enjoy the amazing water and mountain views from this unique property while lounging in your van, relaxing in your tent or hanging out on the spacious decks. Convenience of a drive on island and only 20 minutes to the freeway.
Single campsite is located at the front of the property perched at the bluff edge, boasting amazing sunsets, panoramic water views of Samish + Bellingham bay with Blanchard and Chuckanut in the background.
Bring your toys or just enjoy the view. Located just steps from the public beach access you can enjoy clamming, kayaking, paddle boarding or just beach combing. There is also a regularly serviced Honey bucket at the park access. Bikes are a great option for exploring the island and the surrounding area including all that Edison has to offer just a few miles away.
Site includes a designated parking space, two large decks with a pergola, gazebo, timber table, firepit and adirondack chairs for enjoying the view. we are best setup for tent campers w/ single vehicle, trucks w/ slide in campers, vans etc

The residence is not currently occupied and we are starting repairs and renovations on the back buildings later this year, so you may see me in/out some days as I base my construction business from the shop at the back of the property
Please enjoy the private campsite area and refrain from exploring the back of the property or other buildings.Approaching the property you'll pass the Skagit county public beach access and drive through the timber entryway. The campsite is located on the right overlooking the water behind the stacked timber wall. Everything on the bluff in front of the driveway is the area for you to enjoy. The designated parking space is at the far end and is a pull-in or back-in next to the gazebo. This parking space is great for cars, vans, pickup trucks w/ slide in campers and rvs under 24'. This site CANNOT accommodate truck/travel trailer combinations as we dont have the space for turning around, maneuvering or additional parking spaces. (please do not obstruct the shared driveway that passes throught the property) Be aware and careful on the decks as not all areas have railings and there is steep terrain at the bluff edges.

We came on a rainy windy weekend and I have to say even so it was just such a lovely and relaxing view. We enjoyed walking below and the area is simply gorgeous.

Perfect spot for a base camp while birding. The view is stunning and you love the deck and gazebo. Took the dog down to the beach. The camp site is in a quiet neighborhood, but I was fine with that. Looks like the one property people are mentioning is being renovated or fixed up. Great location.

Great spot with a beautiful view. It is essentially on a shared driveway in front of homes, so there isn't a ton of privacy (if your rig has a lot of windows), but you are on the bluff overlooking the beautiful ocean. And the island is so cute. Make sure you stop in Edison on the way to get a loaf of bread! Seriously the cutest town. Highly recommend!

Easy To Get To
24 ft campervan
This spot is easy to get to, and has a nice view if you’re facing out to the water. Behind is a not so picturesque property that is very close which detracts from the overall experience. The host is very nice and responsive however.

Thank you for a great experience!

We loved camping at the Samish Island Bluff site. Beautiful views, fairly private, & a great layout. Added bonus with the park so close. The surrounding neighborhood was really nice for long walks with views. We will be coming back.
FYI: We have a Truck with a slide in camper, total length of 24 feet. We needed to slightly angle the truck on the site to allow for our steps out the back. No issues, but something to consider if you are pushing the 24 feet.
