Stay at our private piece of rain forest paradise. Our 9 acres of forest is adjacent to the Olympic national park and the Olympic discovery trail.
Camp next to Lake Crescent and the Sol Duc river/ hot springs, immersed in the Olympic rain forest, next to a bubbling creek. There is hiking , biking and boating in all directions. Each camp is semi secluded, surrounded in ferns and old growth trees.
With many trails that loop around and covered outdoor kitchens, its a great spot to chill and cook or explore the forests
thousands of ferns and bubbling brooks .
Located a mile and a half from Lake Crescent, adjacent to the Olympic Discovery Trail and the Olympic National Park, our property is
a perfect gathering point to explore the possibilities of the peninsula.
You will think you're in the park.
Arrived when the sun was setting (7pmish). There was no one to be found, no people no host. It had been pouring rain the whole day but I expected to find at least the host.
Once I had pitched the tent, we went to find the bathroom and showers. None of the showers worked!! I specifically booked this place because of this and I think it should have been disclaimed in the listing.
I could see the camp was set up pretty nicely with lots of wooden mushrooms and benches but it felt like we were exploring an abandoned campground. No lights, no markers.
1a and 1b were relatively far away from the center and though it was beautiful when we woke up in the morning, it was a little scary in the night. Its not the host's problem that we couldn't sleep but usually there is some indication of human presence, like lights leading to the bathroom area or someone to give a check-in tour.
Beautiful location! We were originally going to camp for 2 nights, but due to the rain we had to cut it short so we only stayed for 1 night. The whole campground is very well thought out, there are full kitchens with stove and utensils that we used and clean bathrooms. There was a shower with warm enough water, but we didn’t use it. I would def come back when the weather is better!
Absolutely magical place to stay! Girlfriend loved it and we both thought it was super cute and quiet (we're staying early in the season). Every part of the place had something unique and delightful and HOT SHOWERS! Will definitely stay when we're coming back through in the future
Cool spot! Off-season campers beware — like the previous review, water was turned off so bathroom facilities were not usable and there wasn’t available drinking water. We brought everything we needed so we were alright and were also the only ones on the property. Really beautiful forest and great location. Would love to check it out again in the summer!
I can see why this place has so many great reviews. It’s so close to the lake and the park, but tucked away so that aside from a little highway noise it’s peaceful and comfortable. Someone clearly went to a lot of trouble to make this a place where folks can gather and enjoy nature. We loved the many decorations and the kitchens and social spaces. However, our timing might have worked against us, as there was a light-are-on-but-nobody’s-home vibe upon our arrival. We didn’t see any other campers or caretakers, and the water was turned off so we couldn’t use the bathroom or the kitchens. The potable water jugs were empty, and most concerning, the toilets were not functional. Toilet paper and etc. was piled up in the toilets, and there was one partial roll of paper available, which was wet. We are mostly self contained in our van, so water wasn’t as much a problem, but we’d been looking forward to the promised hot showers, and the lack of flushing toilets sucked. It sort of felt like we shouldn’t be there, and with the elevated cost of camping here, we would have been better off at a state park.
We love Seph with our whole heart! Our stay kept getting better and better as the evening went on, with a fully equipt kitchen to a ping pong table to Rufus the dog who was immediately beloved. The sites were sprinkled with fun carvings and fairy lights to make for the campsite of your dreams. The staff (Seph) was quick to greet us with enthusiasm and unending kindness.
