Super cute "village" of campsites with outdoor kitchen and seating. Great to have a shower! Convenient location on the edge of the national park.

Camping in the Olympic National Par
The area was had everything we needed to camp comfortably. The kitchen and bathrooms were a bonus as well. Conveniently located right next to Discovery trail, for a daily walk. It was quiet in the evenings, a little noisy during the day from the logging trucks on the Highway. Overall, we would suggest this place to any camper.

Amazing location, right off the Olympic Discovery Trail. The campground is really charming. We only stayed one night, and I would've loved to stay more. We were in 1B, which is a little bit of a walk to the campsite, so be prepared for that. It's also a bit far from the hipcamp established toilet/shower, but there's a porta potty right off the ODT that the campers can use.

There was so much thought and care put into every inch of the sol duc retreat! We loved all of the community spaces, little trails, and beautiful wood carvings everywhere. It was fantastic to have a really well equipped kitchen.

ODT biking adventure stay
We all really enjoyed the campsite, and the campground was a lot of fun. Communal Kitchen and Bathrooms were clean and well supplied.
Unfortunately both ovens were not working so we were not able to bake our planned dinners, but we managed. The cold showers were a bit disappointing, but we were camping, so who really needs a shower anyways!
Will definitely be back, as the staff were friendly, and location is ideal for exploring the Olympic Discovery Trail. Will have to try one of the glamping sites next time.
