We had a great time at Lake Polenta. Easy to find and easy to access our reservation spot. The area was clean and had beautiful grounds. We will definitely come back and bring our friends.

Fern Gully Site 1, "Rugged Country"
Tent Terrific for Family of 3
Fern Gully Tent Site #1 offers a cozy safari tent with all of the basics we needed to enjoy a night outdoors with family. I loved the idyllic setting on the Lake with cattails, lily pads, & waterfowl. When we arrived we saw a deer on the driveway coming in, we found clean linens on the bed, extra blankets in a pouch under the bed, an extra foldaway bed for our son (very nice to have!), and firewood was available for purchase for $7.50 a bundle. Thank you Crystal for your hospitality, we’ll be back again soon.

We had a good weekend! Be aware the sites beginning with the letter A do NOT have sewer/gray water emptying at the site, and I thought they did. The campground is still under construction, so we experienced a fair amount of construction noises. It seemed quite a few people live on the land (or are staying there for an extended period of time). We could hear some rather loud roosters from a neighboring property as well as their children. The property itself is huge and I wish we’d had time to explore more. When it’s all complete, it will be amazing! The water is well water and had a sulfur smell, so we went and bought water for the dogs (that’s just an us thing I’m sure). The dogs loved it there and there was plenty of room for them to explore. There were a couple of unleashed dogs, so keep that in mind if your dogs are reactive. Overall it was a beautiful spot! It appears there will be about 8-10 RV spots when all is said and done, and some will have dump sites at the actual spots instead of the dump station on the way out.

Beautiful new campground
We loved the quiet forest setting. There were a lot of deer in the area. The hosts were very helpful. Everything was brand new.

So charming and tucked away!
This place was such a pleasant surprise tucked away from the main road and gave a great retreat feeling. The lake and ducks were so adorable! I would recommend this place to anyone willing to listen!

Stunning natural beauty
It's a beautiful wooded space with plenty of room. The staff is incredibly nice and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. The property has a lot of natural beauty and plenty of space to hike and enjoy nature, both in the forest and around the pond. They are still actively building and improving so things are changing and it will be even better in the future no doubt.
