Willow Creek Retreat is a private nature retreat situated on a farmstead on the West Plains of Spokane County, conveniently located 5 minutes from the Spokane International Airport. Situated on 20 acres with abundant trees and a year round creek dappled with wildflowers. Boasting shaded camp sites, abundant bird songs and bird watching opportunities including blue heron, hawks, great horned owl, quail, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, and creek full of frogs for the kids to catch and friendly horses to watch. Each evening, listen to the coyotes howl, the owls hoot, crickets chirp, frogs croak (in spring/early summer) and the gentle ambling of the occasional short train that crosses the track on the nearby spur. Willow Creek Retreat is a great place for a camp reunion, families wanting to get their kids into nature, fall bird hunting or a romantic country get away. Hippocamping Tent Campsite 2
4/5 stars!!!
She has an absolutely beautiful and very clean property! There is not a lot of tree coverage for most of the sites so, unfortunately, it feels a little like being on display. However, it did look like she is trying to create a little more coverage - lots of smaller trees that will make for some good shelter/privacy once they're fully grown. I loved all the farm animal sounds! The main reason our trip wasn't "great" was the weather - it rained, hailed and thundered with 40+ mph winds the whole second day we were there. Rachel, obviously, has no control over the weather though.

Budget 30 amp RV space
The site is spacious and it is a lovely property amongst ranches and farmlands. The porta potty was well kept. The roofless shower shed looked quaint and cool. But it was too cold to try it out. A nice spot to stop for a night. I came with full water tank so did not need to use the common water spigot.

Magical Creekside Garden RV 3
We stayed in site #3 for 2 nights. We loved it! It was quiet, peaceful and a pretty area. Our four kids loved watching the horses and cows roam, riding their bikes, swinging on the tree swing, and exploring the creek. Other things we loved: beautiful sunsets, the hammocks, quiet evenings with the pretty solar mood lights scattered around, and the outdoor shower. Also being out in the country but only about 20 min. away from downtown Spokane. It’s right beside the military base but besides hearing their wake up bugle song at 7:00 (which we didn’t mind at all) on weekdays it’s very quiet in that direction and is not a sound problem at all. We’d definitely recommend staying here for families!

Rachael’s property is beautiful with lots of little extra touches like nighttime lighting, hammocks and wildflowers that make it cozy and welcoming…. Horses wandering close by and the BEST outdoor shower ever!!

Hippocamping Tent Campsite 2
Very Cute Camping site
Rachael has done a great job here. Very well maintained property with good spots and F***ing Horses (Yee Haw)! Maybe a tad on the pricer side of tenting spots but you can tell she really likes what she is doing there and it's worth it for the little details.
