Cooper's Whitewater Campsite
A great relaxing weekend getaway!
Great site! We enjoyed our weekend here camping. We chose the tent site and opted to pay the little extra to have the whole lot to ourselves. Felt very secluded. We found a walkable access down to the creek and while the water was low it was still beautiful and fun to climb around on the huge rocks. The campsite has a ton of wood but bring your own axe or saw. The site was clean and maintained. William was very responsive, especially when we got lost on the way there. Use google maps as suggested! The site is also only about a 45 min drive to Ohiopyle for biking, hiking, waterfalls and whitewater rafting! Definitely recommend going there! Overall a great relaxing weekend away to recharge. We will be back! Thanks William!!

Great for friends trip
We had a great two nights and wished we had planned to stay another.. plenty of wood bring an ax. Extremely private and well worth the extra $ for the privacy. You will think you are driving forever to get there and your car will be dusty but doable in a sedan.
The compost toilet was interesting both a learning experience and a topic of conversation haha Hamster cage came up a lot.. but very usable.. the water provided next to the bathroom to wash with was great.
We said we want to book next year to see the construction the whole gated community is under development but beautiful and private.. only the low highway and wonderful nature sounds at night and absolutely no light pollution

Great site! Absolutely recommend paying for extra privacy. Very tranquil spot in a gated community. Felt very safe and peaceful. Lots of wood for fires- bring a saw! Beautiful star-watching without the light pollution of the city or suburbs. Close to Cooper’s Rock. Can’t wait to visit again and maybe try the cabin.

Cooper's Whitewater Cabin
This was a beautiful camping site with a wonderful little cabin. Our family of four and a dog stayed for two nights and camped very comfortably. Really easy to get to with a regular car, but still felt secluded and private. We hiked in Coopers Rock Forest during the day. The trails were beautiful. Would definitely visit again!

Cooper's Whitewater Cabin
This was an amazing stay and we would love to come back! The battery bank gave us plenty of power to get through the night, we even had the fan running, and the fridge kept the everything nice and cold.
Inside the gated community there is an area to relax by the river with firepits and charcoal grills. The rocks along the river offer plenty of areas to lay out and there is enough room that you don't have be close to anyone if you want some space.

Cooper's Whitewater Campsite
The site was great! The gated entrance to the area made it feel private and safe. We camped on Sunday and Monday nights, so it was very quiet, aside from hearing vehicles occasionally from the nearby highway. There was some odor from the composting toilet, but I never used one before, so didn't know what to expect. There is PLENTY of wood to burn on site, but I recommend that future campers bring a saw, hatchet, and/or pruners to cut it up into usable lengths to burn. The local hiking at Coopers Rock was wonderful, challenging and beautiful at the same time. Hopefully you'll see us again soon!
