Site 1 - Shenandoah Adventures
Great stay! Nice big camping area with a good amount of room between the sites. Plenty of space to setup whatever you need! Plus, LOTS of great trees for hanging hammocks. Private river access to a pretty quiet stretch of the Shenandoah River, which led to great kayaking and fishing. Dutch even offers a pick-up service if you want to do a longer float. The amenities here were amazing, and Dutch was incredibly friendly and kind. This was a great spot in a beautiful area and I will definitely be back. I can't recommend it enough.

Down by Shenandoah getaway spot
Our family really loved camping at Dutch’s down by the river Hipcamp. He and his wife Melissa are great hosts who make you feel at home and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. We rented kayaks and had a great time out on the Shenandoah. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot by the river in West Virginia, we highly recommend Dutch's spot. We will be back.

Fantastic!!
Camping here was excellent, especially with 2 toddlers! The river was absolutely beautiful and the campsite was so clean. The host was super welcoming and helpful, and even checked on us when it poured rain that night.

site 1- loved it.
the stay was great ! dutch was a great host and very hospitable. we stayed at site 1, which is nice and tucked behind the row of the other sites, and also the closest walk to the toilet. everyone shares the same stair entrance to the river and not even a minute walk. the space was very clean and felt private. each site was provided with a picnic table covered with a canopy, and a nice fire pit. river views for everyone! great stay, thanks dutch !

Great time in a beautiful place!
Great place in a beautiful peaceful spot on the river. The covered picnic table was a bonus. The hosts Dutch and Melissa were so welcoming, helpful, and fun! Our site had room for two single and a 4 man tent. It was such a great place to come home to at the end of the day hiking on the Appalachian Trail! We would definitely return!
