Our property was a small family farm for several generations. Our family purchased the property about 18 years ago. Since we are not farmers but love living here, the question became "What would be the best use for the land?" Living in a scenic area and already being in the vacation rental business on some other family property answered the question. We decided to share the beautiful view and seclusion of our area with others.
Our goal was to keep the cost of building down so that we could pass on the savings to you so that you would not have to be rich to enjoy our lovely area. This inspired the idea of a glamping cabin. The cabin is actually a repurposed office building that was built about the time this property was purchased by our family. We moved it to the present location and completely remodelled it in 2018 and added the bathroom. For 4 years, guests enjoyed an off-the-grid experience.
In 2023, when we began work on the glamping dome (stay tuned--coming soon!!), we decided to add electricity, running water, and a hot tub to the tiny house!
We hope you enjoy the cabin (and, soon, the dome) and the stunning view from them as much as we enjoy sharing this beautiful spot with you!
Note: The Charming Glamping Cabin is at a totally different property. That property also has a section that used to be farmed. Now a lot of it is forest. We purchased the property around 2000. This cabin was built approx. 10 years later. At that point, the cabin was a tiny economy cabin with a sofa bed. However, it seemed most folks preferred comfort over economy, so in 2020, we added a bump-out to the side of the cabin so there would be room for a queen bed. Guests have loved the improvement. (:

Cozy little tiny house! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here. Accommodations were as described with the exception of the hot tub which appears to have been upgraded from the inflatable one shown in the pictures! Hot tub was plenty hot and we enjoyed it for a good 25 minutes each night during our stay in late fall! The place was easy to find based on the directions given. Be prepared to have absolutely zero cell service, though we were able to get a few texts out via satellite reception on our cell phones.
This cabin is amazing! The location is great- just far enough away from everything to feel remote, while being a short enough drive to many many of the attractions the area has the offer. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we would need while visiting. Communication was clear and fast! We would love to be back and would definitely recommend to our friends and family!! We also got engaged here, so that was just icing on the cake!
We had a wonderful time in the cabin, which we found to be a thoughtfully-built getaway. From sitting on the front porch in the morning watching the clouds lift from the valleys, to relaxing in the hot tub at night, made for the perfect weekend. We brought prepared meals, but next time would plan for things to cook on the hot plate. The mini fridge is just big enough for two for the weekend, and you are a stone's throw from Yokum's Store where you can grab everything you may have forgotten, or enjoy a meal. We enjoyed everything about our stay and won't hesitate to come back again!
It was a super beautiful cabin with all the amenities clearly thought out. The info book was super helpful in planning what hikes we wanted to do! Can’t wait to come back for another stay!
The Tiny Cabin was a perfect stop on a girls-road trip. It’s was very clean and had everything we needed for a couple nights. You will have to carry your luggage up a hill since parking isn’t right in front of the cabin, so pack what is easy to carry. Regardless of the hill, the place is great and the view is top notch!
