Enjoy one of our four large, beautiful sites with friends or family. The South, North and Rocks sites offer great privacy and seclusion. The Bridge site offers unique charm and close proximity to river, creek and bridge, and has the best WiFI access. Plenty of greenery between sites. You should mostly only see neighbors when going to bathhouse. On our property you will find, four large camp sites, Stoney Creek Country Store on the river, Pavillion next to the store, Cacapon River Outfitters behind the store, smallground campground next to pavillion, giant swing, bathhouse closest to riverside/campground, and a few (5) other trailers (mobile homes) further behind the store/bathhouse. The dead-end road that goes through our property leads to another riverside community that is sparsely developed. Kayak, boat or tube (we offer Tubing and Canoes). Fish or watch wildlife. (Fishing licenses available on DNR site for cheap) Nearby attractions if the river is not enough: * C&O Bike Trail, 185mi long from Washington DC to Cumberland MD (~9 miles) * Paw Paw Tunnel, part of C&O park (~9 miles) * Potomac River (~9miles allows gas powered boats) * GreenRidge Forest 47,560 acres (~10 miles, hiking trails and sightseeing) * Sideling Hill Wildlife Management area, 2,507 acres (2 miles) * Eidolon Nature Preserve (~12 miles) * Windmyer Hunting area, 422 acres, along route 9 (14 miles) * Berkeley Springs Spas, Pool, Park and Mineral Waters * Towns of Berkeley Springs, Hancock, Flintstone, Cumberland and Winchester within 40min drive * Cacapon State Park, 6,115 acres.. Hiking and Biking trails.. (~18miles) Day trips Swallow Falls (1h 40m drive) Deep Creek Lake area (90m drive) Black Water Falls (2h drive)

Almost Heaven Riverfront South
The site was right on the river and our group of dads and kids had a great time exploring it. Pretty private site. We ventured to Paw Paw tunnel a few miles down the road and enjoyed that too based on the hosts recommendation.

Almost Heaven Riverfront South
We stayed in “South” campsite
Campsites are nice. Right on the river. A very shallow part of the river, so easy to chill and hang out in the water. Kids were catching crawdads in the rocks. Easy access. Nice little camp store on site. I didn’t expect the trailer park part of it. When I initially pulled in, I thought I was in the wring place. Very close to many amazing things. We went to Cacapon state park. It is roughly 30min away. A huge mountain biking community! Also all the regular state park things. Cabins, tent areas, parks, lake beach, pavilions etc. The wood bundles are a good value. We used two for about 3hrs of camp fire in a solo stove. Bathrooms are good. Great Hot water. Not nasty in any way, but not super clean either. They are kept clean, just not sparkling new kinda clean. No complaint here. No luck fishing, but this time a year, with the current low water conditions. It wasn’t surprising. Probably a good spot in the spring and early summer. The camp store hours differed from the website and instructions we were given. Probably because it is after labor day. Was told and website says 9am-7. But it was actually 11-6 while we were there. No biggie, just good to have accurate info. All in all, we had a great time, no regrets. Thanks for the wonderful campsite. Definitely recommended.

We had a great time at our campsite! The view was so pretty and the general store was super convenient when we had to pick up a few last minute things :)

Almost Heaven Riverfront South
We picked this campground for our annual multi generation camping trip and we had a great experience. The sites are large and private and the instructions provided excellent. Private bathroom was a huge plus!

Almost Heaven Riverfront Bridge
Camping at the bridge site was lovely for my group! We had a group of 9 people (4 tents) and it was a spacious area, with beautiful views of the river, and close access to the bathrooms and store. We were able to park our cars nearby, which was super helpful when we had to quickly pack some things up when a storm came through. Andrey was helpful and friendly. He quickly introduced himself while around and allowed us to use the charcoal grill that was under the pavilion on a rainy day. Andrey was also responsive via messages prior to our trip. I didn’t find the bridge site too noisy, despite the notes provided. It was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this campsite!
