i got this land/property 20 years ago love the peacful part of it and have always wanted to raise my own anaimals for food and to know what they have been feed and grow my own veggies and be able to share with others.also love to make wines and meads and we are working on bein able to sell them.we also have a few berry plants and plain on a lot more.working to put up a green house or to also.i work a full time job and then do this to help with property and to share some of what i love about this place .working on site its just a tent site doesn't have power or electric yet working on running that done do have a fire ring there and picnic table.with a set up to use to cook over fire and it also has a charcoal part also .

Great place to camp for the weekend! Very calm and serene, and the view of the lake made the whole experience priceless. S.H. was a great host, very accommodating. 11/10 will be back!

Awesome Property!

20 ft travel trailer

Property and camp site are awesome. Stuart greeted us and gave the lowdown on the property. Thoroughly enjoyed being close to the goats, pigs, and chickens. Stuart is an awesome host, we will be back. This property is 4 miles from Cacapon State Park which has awesome mountain bike and hiking trails. Definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed the farm atmosphere. Full hookups were a great touch. I had a 33ft camper with slides on both sides. Plenty of room!!

Small farm camping

We had a great time, owners were pleasant and helpful. Site was full hook up and are next to animal pens that we enjoyed. Other than an occasional whiff, the pens did not smell. Goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, roosters and a donkey are on view and kids would love that! Nice pond for fishing and tent area is somewhat private.

Stuart’s property was great, close to the main road but still feels secluded and peaceful. It was dark when we arrived so we couldn’t see all of the animals but in the morning we found we were surrounded by pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens and turkeys. We didn’t use them but our site had both electric and water hookups. On our way out Stuart and his brother had us pick some tomatoes from their garden to take with us. What a great little farm and place to camp!

Stuart was an excellent host! He went out of his way to clear a space for us even though it was a work in progress! Friendly and responsive!
