The campsite at Sheila's Farm - Nakuru offers a peaceful and spacious retreat, providing a wonderful base to explore Esperance and Cape Le Grande. Visitors consistently praise the serenity and privacy of the sites, which are well-spaced and surrounded by natural beauty. Sheila, the host, is noted for her welcoming nature and helpfulness, adding a personal touch to the camping experience. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention the challenge of finding flat ground for swag or tent setups, but this is a minor concern for most campers.
The property is well positioned between Esperence and Lucky Bay which worked very well for our stay. Sites are very private as they are positioned on grass areas between dunes. We had visits from Guinea fowl, sheep and kangaroos. Would be staying again if and when we return.
We all loved our stay at Sheila's Farm - Nakuru. Our kids loved helping her feed the animals and there was plenty of space for the to run around! Sheila was very welcoming and helpful with the local area, we would highly recommend this stay for sure!
Directions were clear & accurate. Sheila was helpful & friendly, meeting me at the given area & time. I had a great spot in a beautiful open paddock with big shade trees adjacent.
Other campers were in sight but not at all close. Stockyard Road has some corrugations but is not too awful. Great spot to explore Esperance & the National Parks to the east.
