You will be positioned overlooking our beautiful dam/lake from there is our gorgeous paddocks with cows, horses, and sheep. Your view extends to our beautiful Jarrah Forrest.
You could fill your day with activities such as fishing for fresh marron or perhaps paddle on the lake in our paddle boat or kayaks. You could also go for walks around the property. It is also a lovely spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. There is no water or power provided.
Please note we allow pets but the must be restrained as we do have working dogs on the farm - Happy for your dog/cat/budgie to enjoy our beautiful farm freely as long as they are happy with our four dogs. Our dogs are super friendly
Sunset on the Hill offers a peaceful and spacious camping experience with stunning sunsets and plenty of room to spread out. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts, Fiona and Paul, and enjoy the amenities such as the dam, which provides opportunities for swimming and paddling. The presence of farm animals, especially the friendly dogs, adds to the charm. While the site is generally quiet and relaxing, some mention mild slopes and occasional animal droppings, which might slightly affect the stay.
Lovely spot out of Denmark in a rural paddock. Large area to choose from, although quite busy for our 2 night stay - about 12 caravans. Thanks so much for a lovely stay Fiona.
We loved our stay at Sunset on the Hill. There was so much space to spread out and at night it was so quiet and so many stars. The kids loved the paddle boats on the dam and they had so much fun catching the yabbies, all the while us adults enjoyed watching the sunset from the Hill. The hosts were so lovely and helpful and went above and beyond to help us when our cat escaped. Thank you Fiona and Paul for your amazing land and hospitality x
We love our spot here. The weather wasn't on our side but we still loved our stay. The kids enjoyed the canoes and paddle boat even in the rain and waking up to the farm dogs at your door was adorable
