Learn more about this land: We are open for winter camping, I have opened around 400 acres for you to enjoy. Our peaceful property a once beautiful operating farm now growing back to its natural state with some farm fields still being utilized. We have mature hardwood forests to small streams and ponds scattered throughout. Check in as early as you want if no one is at the site. Many trails for biking or hiking. We have a few larger areas to accommodate multiple groups check with us if you would like to see if we can accommodate you we are always happy to help.

Sugar Maple

First off we have not been tent camping in a long time so we were a little hesitant. The site was secluded & shaded which is what we were wanting since we had our 4 yr old and our grand baby with us.. It was big enough to support our 3 room tent & our other stuff. There is a porta potty at the end of this site which was nice. Matthew also had a charcoal grill waiting for us. When we got there Matthew was unable to meet us but came by about an hr after we got there. He provided us with information about the grounds, and some nearby lakes and a creek. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short due to rain. I would definitely recommend staying here & our family will definitely be back. Thanks Matt for a great time.

Beautiful Site And great Hosts. Very tranquil and the trails Were awesome. Lots of rain. God stuck in the mud and they kindly Winched.me out. Would love to visit again.

Margaret’s pond

Camping in the rain

I loved the camping we came in a storm and we were too dedicated to leave so we stuck through the storm and to our surprise the owner brought an outhouse way closer to our site than it was originally, very peaceful trails as well!

I loved the campsite. It was secluded and perfect for me and my two dogs. We got to hear the barred owl hooting at night, and the frogs in the nearby pond. We took walks on the trails throughout the property to enjoy the scenery. The dogs loved swimming in the little creek. Matthew is a friendly host and met me right away to show me to my campsite. I highly recommend checking out Matthew’s place and be sure to get yourself some delicious maple syrup made right on site!

Margaret’s pond

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend at Margaret’s pond on Matthew’s land and had a fantastic time. We got to have a delicious breakfast in the morning with down to earth people and even got to buy some tasty syrup and eggs. We look forward to more stays in the future!
