Only 8 miles (14 min) from the beautiful Copper Falls State Park. You can drive your vehicle right up to the campsite. This campsite can accommodate average sized campers or 5-6 large tents. This campsite includes a fire ring for your use during your stay. There is deadwood around the property if you wish to forage for firewood, if not there is split wood sold locally. We have no light pollution up here so this is a great place to stargaze and view the Milky Way. This location is within the woods, there is no insect control program so please come prepared. Insect population depends upon recent rainfall and temperatures, and varies greatly. Come prepared with bug sprays and/or a fogger. As well as camping within the woods, there is wild animals. Use caution with your pets roaming and I do not recommend leaving food out. You are required to clean up after yourself and haul your sanitary waste with you when you leave. This campsite has no electric or sewer hookup. There is no shower house or bathroom at this location. I will set the refund policy for 100% up to 3 days prior to check in. Please do a check on the weather outlook at least 3 days before you arrive to see if the weather will be nice for at least part of your stay. If you cancel within 3 days before your arrival, I am sorry, but the system won't provide a refund. If you need to cancel, please cancel at least 3 days prior to your arrival date so you can be refunded, and others can have a better chance to schedule a stay.Plan some fall and winter hikes on the Copper Falls State Park System yet this year or camp here for some winter camping and do some ice fishing on near by lakes! Hunting season is now and rifle is just a couple weeks away - bring your camper and call this home base! Personally I’ve been there trying to find a place to haul our ice castle during the “off season” and often times much isn’t available. I will try and accommodate you the best I am able to this winter. If you are considering camping here shoot me a message and I will make sure things are plowed out and ready for your stay. This campsite is where we spend our summer nights and fall evenings. You are the only campsite on 30 acres surrounded by vacant land, easy access to the road but close to the definition of privacy - you will not run into another camping group! Lots of memories made around the campfire and hiking through the woods. There is room comfortable enough for us to pull in our 18ft Ice Castle for camping, as well as plenty of room for tents in addition. Pictured is our set up, reservation does not include ice castle access and ice castle will not be on site. There is a trail that loops around, it’s not an easy walk but nice for venturing about or for a stroll with a wheeler. If you use a wheeler please be respectable, this is also where our family makes memories. There is access to Happy Pond through our trail system. Happy Pond is at the very back of our property. Best way to describe it is it is located 70 acres deep. We take our four wheeler back on the trail to access Happy Pond. There is a boat to use if you wish to venture out on the 10-acre lake. We enjoy making meals on the campfire, playing games outside, and listening to the frogs talk at night from the pocket low land on the campsite. My son is entertained by the water biology for hours. There is many other rivers and lakes in the area to choose from. Fishing, hiking, foraging, golf, ATV, and lots of other summer activities to enjoy. Campers can expect privacy on these 30 acres and be immersed in the diverse biology of untouched woodlands. Copper Falls State Park is a 14-minute drive North (8 miles) and there's an amazing restaurant in Cayuga called the Drop Tine 6-minutes (4 Miles) South.

Quiet little spot
Tent
Spent a couple nights looking for a secluded spot and stumbled across Camp Blue Rock. Was not disappointed! The spot was large enough to fit my tent, screen tent (much needed as the flies will torment you to no end this time of year) and suv. Prices was reasonable but make sure to read that there is no running water, bathroom or electricity so pack ahead with that in mind. Copper falls was nearby and was a great spot to hike around. Will definitely be back
