2. Secluded Pond Oasis
Not so "Clear"
Pros: Coyotes calling, frogs, butterflies, birds, bats, mice babies!, pretty secluded visually. Close to attractions and attentive hosts.
Cons: Stagnant, algae covered farm pond that was only a couple feet deep (no fish to be seen!) and loud neighbors on the weekend traveling back and forth to the clubhouse.
Our trip was good overall... the hosts were friendly, the tripod campfire grate was neat to cook with, and the location of the camp was good. Just keep your expectations realistic. The name "Clear Water" and dock may give impressions of swimming and/or fishing... neither of which were possible at site 2 in the beginning of June '24.

Cute site with great hosts!
The hosts, Adam & Jackie were extremely welcoming and accommodating! They had a fire going for me upon my arrival as I came in a bit later than expected. They thought of everything here, toilets throughout the sites, tiki torches at the sites, and a rec area with games, snacks and other activities. I would absolutely recommend! I am glad I had 4x4 on my site as it may have been hard to get to once it rained. All things considered I will absolutely return!

4. Secluded Hilltop
We had a great time! The hilltop spot was a great size for my 2 tween/teen kids and me. Adam and Jackie were friendly and accommodating. We all loved the game room. We definitely recommend and will be back!

Loved it!
Adam and Jackie's property is remote, spacious, and comfortable to navigate! Their rec room is awesome and they're stocked with tons of food and equipment to use/rent, in case you forgot something. They were very friendly and accommodating and exactly what I hope for in Hip Camp hosts.

Amazing site, very private. Each site has its own unique beauty, can’t wait to try them all. The rec room was a perfect shelter for our rainy morning and the hosts are incredibly hospitable. 20 min drive from the lakes and 10 from town. You will love this place.

We love Waupaca!
This was our second stay! Adam and Jackie’s place is awesome. They have a rec house with self serve honor system ($) snacks and mini bar, games, big screen tv, etc etc So even if it rains there’s something to do. The property is beautiful and very secluded offering campers plenty of privacy. The location is perfect and just a quick drive to Waupaca where the beautiful Chain of Lakes is with great restaurants, bands, and boat rentals on crystal clear lakes. There’s too much to list!
