We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Beautiful views of the lake and access to all the state park trails. We spent evenings on the screen porch. Highly recommend!

Private, electric site with nice fire ring and comfortable chairs, two docks into the Chippewa Flowage very close to the blacktop road which allows for great bike riding for the kids as there is almost no traffic on the road. Only downside we saw was the site was very unlevel and extremely difficult to get our rig leveled. That being said it was worth the time it took!

Very simple campsite but in an excellent location. Nice firepit and appreciated the moveable picnic table as well. Water was a very short walk away and the kayaking just up from camp opens into some beautiful areas full of islands! Only complaint was that it was directly off a road, but there was limited traffic and the walk/joggers who did come by were incredibly friendly.

A nice place to get away

Hayward private camping was a really nice bit of land. It's right on the water were you can put in your kayaks in from their docks. Aron was a great host that responded to our messages almost immediately!
