We are located near the famous Gays Mills Apple Orchards. We have trout streams nearby, biking the back country roads, canoeing nearby, Mississippi River 7 miles from us, Historic sites to visit, like Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien, Pikes Peak and Effigy Mounds. We are in the Ocooch Mountains, so whether you are in the hills or valleys, you are always surrounded by the beauty that nature provides. We have a treehouse on our property that we rent out and offer the use of an updated outhouse that has been here for decades. We also provide an outdoor shower. The treehouse has a small Keurig, toaster and microwave. We have a 36 inch Blackstone griddle on our large deck for your cooking needs. Please wander over this way and enjoy what Southwest Wisconsin’s Driftless Area has to offer. You can bring your own towels, bedding, pillows, etc., but if you forget or don’t have room, I have some all ready for you to use when you come. Just let me know and I will bring it to you or let me know ahead of time and I will have it in the treehouse for you.The treehouse sleeps 4, but the yard has room for a tent and has a fire pit. The treehouse deck is huge and has an amazing view. There is a Blackstone grill on the deck and the treehouse has a toaster, keurig, small fridge, microwave and a television. We have a path on the farm for walking or running and ATV roads right out our driveway. The treehouse is on our property, but surrounded by trees, so offers privacy from the road. This is the Driftless Area in Southwest Wisconsin and also full of Native American history.

AMAZING TRIP TO PARADISE
AMAZING! We stayed 3 nights and it was an absolute delight. Host's were incredibly kind, very helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful, the treehouse was fantastic. There is so much more to do in the area than we had even realized and lots of information is provided. The scenery alone makes every drive worth it. There's a small pond on the property and a good bit of nature you can walk through as well. Quiet community, very small town. Bring what you'll need for coffee and breakfast is our recommendation, there is great food and coffee in Lansing but any kind of morning quick coffee is a bit of a drive. If it's around storm season be prepared to reroute a few times as there are a lot of Mississippi fed streams and creeks in the area so flooded roads were present. The county does a very good job of marking but GPS doesn't always know. Overall we have found an area that are absolutely in love with thanks to this property. We plan to return for years to come.

Carolyn went above and beyond to ensure our comfort! She provided fresh towels and sheets, a luxury stop on our camp around the driftless. The heated outdoor shower made us feel like we were on an island vacation. It rained on us, but the sound of rain on the metal roof lulled us to sleep.

Gorgeous space, adorable treehouse!
Super family friendly. Mini playground under treehouse. Beautiful land. Easy to find. Amazing hosts. No sink or running water at treehouse so bring jugs/bottles to fill up at the spigot. Wash up at the spigot too, if not showering. City water at spigot so full up drinking water bottles there too. Poshest Pinterest outhouse I've ever seen, super cool. Outdoor shower. Keurig, hot plate, mini fridge and microwave. Grill too. Really lovely stay, will need to go back! Bring your own sheets, pillows, blankets, water jugs. Sleeps 4 normal to small people, haha... If you're over 6 ft, it'll sleep 3 because you'll probably need the futon or loft all to yourself to "fit". Loft could probably fit someone tall and a child easily. Super fun stay. Check it out! So lovely to have coffee on the morning in the deck.

Fun stay!
Carolyn was very welcoming and accommodating. Our kids (9 and 7) loved the treehouse and the swings. They also really enjoyed the farm dog that would come visit. We had a great time just relaxing, playing, making s'mores, and having family time in a unique spot. Very cleanly!
