Notice: 6/26/24 Due to recent torrential rains we are experiencing flooding as the Wisconsin River backs up. We are blocking dates according. Also, accordingly, we have many mosquitoes. They vary from time of day/sun/shade/fire/breeze but please plan accordingly. 4 acres nestled bordered on all sides by thousands of acres of public lands. Hike the hills and bluffs for scenic views of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway. Descend to enjoy the sandy Wisconsin River. Walk over to Knapp Creek and fish for Catfish, etc. One mile to the Wisconsin River for Catfish, Northern, Rock Bass, Flat Heads, Sturgeon, etc. We are in SW Wisconsin’s Driftless Region. Apple orchards, Vineyards, Cheese factories, National Brewery Museum, Mississippi River, all within 10-40 minutes. 4 great parks within 30 miles. Wildlife abound including deer, turkey, fox, coyote, beaver, muskrat, river otter, raccoons, squirrels, eagles, swans, yep fish of all varieties, etc. Fill your canteen from our natural spring to enjoy along the way. Pause to reflect beside the babbling brook. We do have chickens and 3 Guinea Fowl. They are fenced on the opposite side of the creek. Please be aware: the rooster crows around 0500. They are 300’ away on the opposite side of the main house. Audible but hopefully not annoying. That said we are happy to have fresh eggs available for your enjoyment. Add them in the “extras” at checkout or mention when you arrive. We have one nice medium dog who won’t likely visit.Plenty of tent space, secluded yet open enough for some breeze. Sun and shade. Head straight into the valley and hike along the creek to the beaver dams. Head up the trail to the top of the hill and across the ridge. Find scenic bluff vistas hundreds of feet above the Wisconsin Riverway. Hundreds of acres of public land surround us. Or simply relax by the large fire pit and watch clouds pass. Dip your toes in the cooling spring fed crick flowing past your tent. Firewood provided for a nice fire. Additional bundles available $3per. We do have chickens and the rooster will start crowing around 0500. Their coop is 300 feet away however and on opposite side of creek. Mosquitoes vary but few after mid-summer.

Willowbrook

We had a great time tent camping with our dog at April and Everett’s land. They were very kind and thoughtful (thank you for lots of fire woods!), and let us hike from their backyard into the public land. It was wonderful to see chickens and turkeys roaming in their yard. We had a very refreshing weekend and would love to go back again.

Hidden Gem

This was an amazing place to camp! The site was super well kept with plenty of room for 3 of us to have motorcycles and tents! We really enjoyed that the firewoods was provided as well as a nice fire ring with grill grate and logs for tables and seats.

Beautiful property and space. You can even watch the chickens roam across the little creek from the campsite. Perfect sun and shade combo. Massive fire pit and lovely set up. Everett and April are super nice and accommodating. The first night we stayed a big storm came through and April came down to tell us that they left the front door to their home unlocked in case we needed shelter. Would recommend!

Had a great time camping here, heard owls and coyotes after sunset. Hosts were very responsive, directions to site were helpful, and Everett met me right on arrival. Everett provided firewood and fire ring has nice cooking grate. Plenty of space at site and easy access to public land.

We loved camping there! Everett greeted us when we arrived with a smile. Although it was cold there was no snow where we stayed because of him. There was plenty of fire wood and very scenic stay! 100% recommend
