R4 English Pale Campground Rustic
Jaw dropping private camping
I spent the weekend with six friends on Cal's land. His daughter helped us carry our gear in a gator to our rustic campsite and delivered us firewood after a rainy night. The path down to the site was hilly and sandy so the gator helped immensely. We were fortunate to be the only campers on the entire property, so we camped right on the beach. We saw huge turtles and caught fish down river a bit and were able to be loud without bothering anyone. The beach is huge and soft and beautiful. The shower, which was a bit of a hike from the beach had great hot water and there was a super clean portapotty there too.
Janelle was prompt with communication and made the stay seamless. This place is a hidden gem and I was so surprised it wasn't busier. The entire property is beautiful. The rustic sites are super sandy so pitching a tent with stakes is a little difficult but using driftwood and rock tiedowns worked well. Bugs were of course out but manageable.
Overall could not recommend enough and had a great time!

Awesome campground
This place is so wonderful, the property is very pretty and extremely well maintained. I didn’t stay on a beach site but I did walk to the beach to see how the sites looked and I will definitely come back and rent a beach site. The way everything was thought out was very smart. Cal was a very nice and kind host, 5 stars!

B18 English Pale Campground
We had so much fun camping at the English Pale Campground. Lots of features available at the site like firewood, tubes, drinks and more. The beach was very nice and a short walk from the upper campsites. We definitely plan on returning to visit. Cal was a great host and answer any questions we had.
