Brackettry Ranch
Daryl was very rude to me as I talked to him about a refund for our purchase. He gave us extremely vague directions to the campsite and didn’t respond to our questions while attempting to find the site. This lack of care for the customer forced us to find another place to stay which ended up being a Walmart parking lot. When reaching out for a refund, Daryl blatantly lied about the previous messages and immediately denied a refund.

Gorgeous stop on RV adventure
Daryl’s land was absolutely breathtaking! We wished we could have stayed longer. You can’t beat those views. Highly recommend!

Great views
Beautiful views and nice open field with level parking spot. Nice to have water & power access if needed. Lots of cow poop because they were using the field at the time we visited, cute gophers too. Didn’t expect to have another trailer nearby, there is someone who lives there but was not around when we visited which was nice because we expected a private spot.

Beautiful ranch near Sheridan
This is a beautiful ranch located very conveniently close to Sheridan. Our host, Daryl, was very responsive. He was quick to respond when contacted and checked in with us after our arrival via a message to ensure everything at the site was OK. We travel in a 27 ft Class C motor home and had no issues navigating to the site and getting set up. We were able to hookup the 30 amp electric with the extension cord we keep on hand. We were able to add potable well water to our fresh water tank after being set up, using our regular freshwater hose. There is a hose available on site, but it was set up to go to a second site located behind ours (trailer present, but unoccupied at the time of our stay); we disconnected that to connect ours.
We travel with three dogs and when we can, we reserve sites where they can have some time off leash; this was a primary reason for our selecting this spot. I did not consider ahead of our stay that prior to Memorial Day, rattlesnakes are already active in Wyoming. Upon realizing this, we kept our dogs leashed and contained in a small fenced space we set up using panels we have. Other dog owners will just want to be mindful of this, as the snakes will inhabit prairie dog holes (they are plentiful here), which our pups would otherwise poke their noses into. This is also a time of year when cattle are present in the immediate area of the site.

Peaceful solitude
This is a quiet, beautiful, site with awesome views. Daryl responds quickly to any messages. There's only one site available, so you're on your own. Do not rely on GPS; it takes you .3 south of the turnoff. Look for a black mailbox and fence with white sign that says Bracketry Ranch.

Beautiful spot
Beautiful location just outside of Sheridan, WY. We were excited to stay however our power cord was not long enough to make it from the pad to the box. The owner graciously issued a refund. I would recommend the spot as long as your rig has a long electrical cord.
