Site 8 - Mulehalla on the Potomac River
Bring a fishing pole
These sites are laid out well with enough spacing for the most part. Each site has elevated gravel tent pads to stay dry, deluxe fire pits, picnic tables. There’s a cool shelter with tables and seating, some electrical outlets and a couple of bathrooms with flushing toilets and showers. There’s another common use area on the opposite side with a portapotty, water hose, and fire wood. Excellent location on the historic Potomac/ C&O canal and that cool old McMahon mill house.

Gorgeous sites
Gorgeous piece of land . A short walk down to the river for fishing or kayaking. Owner came down and welcomed us in after the down poor. We bought our wood from the local store, not even 10 minutes down the road. But the place had firewood available on site to purchase with Venmo.

I’d camp at any site, but #10 is my fav! HUGE site and pretty secluded. Not too far from the restrooms. 10/10 recommend, unless I’m trying to camp that weekend 😉😆

Site 10 - Mulehalla on the Potomac River
Our first Hipcamp and we absolutely loved our stay. We were the only ones there the two nights we stayed. Site 10 was very spacious and the trees mostly blocked the adjacent home. While we were there we saw deer, turtles and rabbits. There was a porta potty on site as well as a bathroom in the carport building. Be sure to walk down to the river and go for a dip.

Cycle C&O
We had the place to ourselves and it was so peaceful. Bathroom/shower was a nice amenity we didn't expect. Easy access to C&O. Most sites looked good. Would definitely come back!
