Amazing!
Bluff Hollow is THE best camp! It's a beautiful, well kept property with plenty of privacy. The river runs through the camp and is so perfectly peaceful. We camp there every chance we get. Eric is a great host and has excellent communication with guests.

Perfect Group Camp
We had an excellent time at Bluff Hollow with our friends. Everyone was able to space out up top and the fire pit area is a nice size to gather around. The water on the river was low (before the rain) and we were able to walk the river downstream a ways and back. Almost felt like we were in Zion national Park! We all brought our “river chairs” and sat in the cool stream and relaxed. Spending the day down by the river is our absolute favorite part of BH.
Hearing and seeing the owls was a big bonus for everyone-so cool. We also LOVED being able to have our dogs off leash. A few things we packed that made the stay better, bug stuff (no brainer for MN), river shoes and chairs, battery operated string lights and a grate for cooking over the fire.
Eric is the perfect host, responds quickly, anticipated our needs and delivers above and beyond. If you want a private camp retreat surrounded by 1,000 different shades of green, abundant wildlife and beautiful river views, definitely book.

The Best!
This is the best place to camp. I don’t know of a nicer, cleaner, or more secluded camp site. If you’re on the fence about booking, don’t be! Go ahead and book it and you’ll have an amazing time. Guaranteed!

Water, wilderness, and dogs
Eric is a responsive, thoughtful host, and the space is secluded and beautiful. In early June, there were flowers and wildlife galore. In addition, the river and bluffs were beautiful. He does a great job maintaining trails, as well, so we were able to do a lot of exploring with our dogs. (The dogs slept for about 18 hours after we returned home.) Can't wait to come back next year.

Beautiful and peaceful sitting down by the Root River annd walking along the edge —even the gorgeous photos do not do it justice! The campsite was secluded and well maintained. Well spaced trees for hammocks and also two chairs sitting out for use. Highly recommended!
