Turn right after the dam, drive through Shepherd Mountain Lake Park. If our "campground guests only" gate if it is closed, and please close gate behind you. Thank you! No Hook Ups No swimming in the lake and no outside boats, but we have boats for campers to use free of charge! General Store and restroom facilities/showers coming soon!

Wellspring

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Arcadia valley outdoors and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, this campground offers not only serene camping spots but also an exhilarating mountain bike path that caters to all skill levels. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-maintained facilities and the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The mountain bike path was a highlight of my stay. It provided the perfect mix of challenging terrain and scenic views, making each ride an adventure. After a day of biking, I took full advantage of the campground’s amenities. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for relaxing my muscles and unwinding. The availability of firewood made it easy to enjoy cozy campfires each night, adding to the overall charm of the experience. Overall, my stay at Arcadia valley outdoors was nothing short of fantastic. Whether you’re an avid mountain biker or just looking for a peaceful retreat, this campground has something for everyone. I can’t wait to return and create more wonderful memories!

Nesta Vista

Had a wonderful time

It’s a cozy set up with creative lots, the owner is very friendly and helpful, and the ability to do so many different things caught me off guard. I had a wonderful time taking a kayak out on the lake. There were 2 disc golf baskets that had me turning the whole park into a disc golf course, and there’s even a punching bag if you need to let out any frustrations. The camp is clean, well organized, well planned, and growing.

Last site on the left

First timer

A nice quite well-kept getaway without driving too far outside of the STL area! Owners are very nice. They even offered to lighter fluid to help start our fire since it had rained that day. The hot tub and sauna are big pluses for me!!! The toilet isn’t exactly a dream scenario but for the price I do not think this can be beat!

Overlook

Lovely, Quiet Retreat

This was a really lovely place to camp. Our site was nice, nestled into the woods, but still close to where our car was parked adjacent to our site. The tent locations were comfortable and flat with mulch as good padding. The sites were spread out for privacy and forest immersion. Michael was very kind and welcoming. The whole place is fun, and we look forward to staying there again.

Wellspring

The host is gracious and runs the campsite with great attention to detail. Everything is impeccably maintained. While we didn’t make it out on Shepherd Lake, there are plenty of fun water activities available. The area also offers excellent hiking opportunities
