Site 2 - Ellison Ranch Camp
Amazing Outdoor Escape
When our campsite reservations fell through in Red Lodge, MT for Father's day weekend, we thought it'd be nearly impossible to find a camping spot (especially to fit a group) anywhere for the weekend. Coming across Kent's hip camp was a God send! Where the green, rolling hills meet the jagged, snow capped mountains, we enjoyed 2 days of peaceful quiet and wide open spaces! All while booking it the night before- amazing! We ended up staying in spot 4, where we easily fit a large motorhome, camper, and a tent. Kent's camp sites have an enormous amount of space, so much more open land to camp on than any traditional campground. Beware of rattle snakes, I came across 2 in one day but neither were near the camp site. The mountain views were incredible! We will most definitely be back!

Site 5 - Ellison Ranch Camp
The ranch was private and beautiful beyond any justice the photo’s could do. As an avid camper I can honestly say it was the best.

Campsite 5 is beautiful
We had a wonderful time at Kent’s land.. lots of birds camp 5 the water was close snow run off.. if you go for a drive, make sure you have your camera, beautiful birds..

Site 4 - Ellison Ranch Camp
The site was excellent, came in from Kensington the road Sweeny was beautiful! The site itself was clean and exactly as described. I felt secluded and got to watch the full moon rise over the mountains. Beautiful spot right next to the river. Highly recommend

Site 2 - Ellison Ranch Camp
Best of the best
The property is a rare find. Pure Montana at it’s finest. Sites are thoughtful placed providing views, so much space,access to the river, and privacy. Some reviewers complain about the road in being rough. Just keep in mind that is part of the journey and the destination is 100% worth the drive. The host was great to communicate with both times we have stayed. Highly recommend.
