GREAT NEWS!!! As of April 5th, my long awaited 1st Glamping site is available for booking! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. We also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the Hipcamp, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Site 5 tents only
I loved camping at Paradise Valley. The sites were spacious and very clean (leaves were blown out). Kathleen was very welcoming as soon as I arrived. The land is far from the highway so absolutely no road noise. Really looking forward to camping there again and exploring the hiking trails and waterfalls. Highly recommend camping there.

I truly loved camping here!
I truly loved camping on Kathleen’s land. Kathleen was a very friendly and helpful host. She responded very promptly to all my questions and helped us numerous times when we were in need of things to help some newbie campers. We stayed in camp site 6 and it felt tucked away and secluded. The land is stunning especially witnessing the leaves turn for fall. The site had a great fire pit and we were provided a metal grill and poking stick for cooking. It was really nice to have compost toilets available as well as non-potable water. I highly recommend staying here if camping makes you nervous. Being on private land added a nice sense of safety for the experience. I’m amazed that having a nature getaway this beautiful is only 1.5 hour drive from NYC. Thanks, Kathleen! We def will be back. ❤️🍁🍂

Best year round camping around!!
We absolutely love it here! The camp sites are all so well set up and offer room for our big tent and plenty of walk around room. There were four different trails to explore here so we booked two days so we could take advantage of the scenery. The drive from NJ was beautiful and the location was so easy to find with our hosts directions. I would advise getting to your site before sundown for the first time however because it is very woodsy( which is honestly a plus) our two sites had a trail that connected them but there was lots of privacy. The sounds of the waterfall added to the ambiance and the handmade signs left behind by campers past topped it all off. If youre looking for somewhere close to NJ to camp year round this is your spot. Thank you to Kathleen for setting up such an amazing location 💗
