This charming land has been in the family since my husband was a young boy. The Indian ruins and artifacts fascinated him then and he is still happy to share this history with whoever shows an interest. With all the improvements made by his father and family through the years, you will also learn to have a love for the history and beauty here on this unique 30-acre treasure.  You can explore Native American ruins that were inhabited by some 2,000 people between 700-1100 AD. The grounds are wonderful to walk with a little lake which draws elk, deer, hawks, blue herons, etc. Easy to access just 3 minutes off I-25. We are 5 minutes away from the Pecos Natl Monument and 15 minutes away from the Pecos River with plenty of great fishing spots…Visit Santa Fe (20-minute drive) or Las Vegas (30-minute drive) with dozens of restaurants, museums, art galleries, etc. We look forward to your stay!

Pretty valley
We stayed at the site called Upper Edge. Nice property. Very sunny site, nice for late October. If this site was leash free for pets, I would call it perfect. Brenda very responsive to our questions.

OpenSky-Full Hookups!
Peaceful Setting
The peacefulness and views were wonderful. I enjoyed having space for walking our Labrador. Easy 20 minute drive into Santa Fe. 3 RV sites in a row. Open Sky site is middle site. The electric hookup is on correct side of RV, water and sewer lines must go under RV to door side. We had extra length so no problem. Water at site tastes very bad. Bring your own water in bottles or in fresh water tank. Might be able to fill your fresh water tank from somewhere else on the property using a different well. Ask ahead of time about where to get water from “better well”. I would probably camp here again due to peacefulness.

OpenSky-Full Hookups!
We stayed in Open Sky. All three of the full hookup sites are pull through. No issues with any of the utilities. We used this as a base camp, only regret was that we didn't allow more time to just hang out at the property. The pond is remarkably beautiful and relaxing for its small size. Brenda was wonderful - very communicative and helpful. All other campers that were there during our stay were respectful and quiet, and we loved Nanny the campground dog. If you're not a dog fan don't worry, Nanny only visited when we encouraged her to and otherwise made herself scarce.

Would definitely stay again!
We loved our stay at Agua de Vida Upper Edge. We stayed for three nights. It was so very peaceful and beautiful. At night the stars put on a spectacular display! Brenda was so warm and welcoming. She provided a converter from 50/30 amp for us which was much appreciated. The 40 acres is fun to explore and the National Historic Site down the road is definitely worth as stop. Also Frankie Casanova’s restaurant in Pecos is delicious for breakfast.
