Description
With a landscape of primarily pinon and juniper trees, Bighorn Campground is convenient for short stays because its walking distance from the town of Glenwood. The town is tiny, but definitely not on pride. The people of Glenwood are happy to tell you all about what there is to see including hot springs, a ghost town, or local restaurants and taverns. It’ll be much more enticing coming from their mouths, but for now, check out the Glenwood website.

On the plus side, Bighorn is convenient for exploring the Catwalk Recreation Area. It wouldn't be my choice for scenery. The campground is basically a parking lot with a vault toilet. The sites look worn & tired. Shade is a little sparse. If you need a place for 1 night close to Glenwood it's just fine.
