This was a very old dairy farm owned by the Duntley Family. Old farming equipment dispersed throughout the property. An old foundation from a sugaring house. Beautiful old rock walls. Deer and wildlife galore. Pitch your tent or bring your camper to our 150-acre working farm oasis. Beautiful views of the Adirondack Mountains. Easy drive to great hiking spots. Easy access in Essex for the ferry to Vermont. Lake Placid, high peaks 30 minutes. Or just relax at your campsite with a fire. There is a water spigot to the left of the big brown metal building with easy access with the driveway in front of the building. Each site has its own outhouse, picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, fire ring with a cooking grate. Snow mobile access during winter months. Happy Camping!

Great secluding camping with dogs
Beautiful view, and Sarah does a great job maintaining the camp sites. Also, the port-a-potties smelled nice!?!?

We had a great time camping on Sarah’s land! It provided a lot more privacy and space than regular campgrounds. We could never bring all our dogs to a regular camp site because they would bark at all the people and dogs. We had a very peaceful weekend even with people at the camp site next to us. We would definitely camp here again and recommend it to friends.

I was disappointed by the road noise from 87 and the lights from the cars. Didn't make it feel as serene at night

Would recommend
Fantastic spot to camp. Beautiful and private. Easy to find campsite, well marked. Had access to cell phone service the whole time. Lots of room to run, play ball, or fly a kite. Also saw hundreds of fireflies the night <3

Site 1 - ADK Mountain View Campground
We stayed on site 1. It was very private, enough room for our 16 foot travel trailer and truck to pull through. Nice outhouse, Adirondack chairs and fire pit. It was a good home base for us to mountain bike and hike in the area. You can see and hear the highway so I wouldn't recommend for someone who wants to spend alot of time at the site relaxing.

Great night of family camping!
This is such an unexpected gem of a site! While I was a little apprehensive after seeing how close I87 runs to the campsite, the reality is that we found ourselves in a beautiful, peaceful spot tucked into the trees. Traffic sounds were minimal, and we felt like we had the wilderness to ourselves! The highlights include: a well made, sturdy, and clean privy equipped with a light and a secured roll of TP; a picnic table and fire ring; plenty of flat grassy area for a few tents; very helpful signage showing where to go; and breathtaking views of the moonrise and sunrise!
