Private driveway in the woods leads up a hill to three fabulous, secluded, country-setting camping locations with incredible views. Hay fields in front of you with woods behind you, you'll have peace and quiet in total seclusion but are only 5 minutes from downtown historic Greenwich village with diners and shops and a CVS. (The “Stewarts” gas station and market has firewood bundles!) Camping locations have no amenities but are cleared with mowed grass and have fire-pits. Pitch tent or bring RV, you'll enjoy yourself and the wildlife around you. Site 1 and 2 are adjacent to woods, site 3 is a wide-open-field site (great RV site) with the best panoramic and sunset view. There is camp wood for fires in various spots on the property (40 acres) that campers are welcome to but you might want to bring some of your own as well. Also, the coded entrance gate will be open for your reservation date so no additional call is required. UPDATE...driveway regraded for easier access for all vehicles now. Site 3 - Archdale Meadows!

Beautiful views

My second time and loved it just as much as the first time! Beautiful place but keep in mind there are absolutely no amenities so you need to come prepared with everything from water, table, chairs, wood to a toilet. I enjoy the solitude & views and will definitely be back again!

Site 3 - Archdale Meadows!

Picturesque with Great Vista

Picturesque and wide-open space with great vista of surrounding rolling, wooded hills and farmland. Easy to access and convenient to town. Kid loved rolling down the slope from camp and dog loved barrelling after! Host was beyond helpful and kind.
