Fall asleep to the sounds of the waterfall on the Catskill creek! Escape the chaos - find peace and solace among the Catskill mountains. Located directly on the Catskill creek in the hamlet of Oak Hill, you'll be sleeping to the sounds of the waterfall just steps from the site. At the foot of the waterfall is your own personal swimming hole. Take advantage of the multiple hammock relaxation stations throughout the property and swimming in the creek. If you're up for a walk, the infamous Yellow Deli is just a mile down the road. We're just a few minutes away from Windham Mountain and various trails if you're the hiking type. Check out our "Must See" book in the tent for suggestions on places to enjoy during your stay. This campsite features a queen size bed for two. Site guidelines Bring loads of extra blankets and warm clothing. Boots are a must. Although the driveway is kept clear, car should ideally be AWD or 4WD depending on weather conditions. Consult your campkeeper. Let your campkeeper know when you are arriving so we can light up entry for you. Cleanup all common spaces when you leave. But, make yourself at home. Video Footage of the site - Instagram - @locustgroveny ***We have added a second full size glamping tent, the same size as the main tent with a queen size bed. This is only available to you when you book this site with a capacity of more than 2 people, it will never be rented to anyone else when you are there.Come fall asleep to the sounds of a waterfall on the Catskill creek in Locust Grove! Situated in the unique Hamlet of Oak Hill, the area has plenty to offer ( need recommendations? Just ask - we've got so many!) Both tent sites are located on a creek overlooking a waterfall. There is an area in front of the main tent that includes a picnic table, outhouse, and fire pit. Both sites include a deck with 2 Adirondack chairs for lounging. Guest can feel free explore and enjoy the 2 acre property - walk the paths or relax on the many hammock stations all around. The creek and swimming hole will be private and yours to use during your stay. The creek water can be used to fill the solar shower (or jump right in the creek!). The site offers electricity in the tent, however, please note - this is weather dependent. During times of heavy rain or storms of any kind this is not guaranteed. A wagon will also be made available to transport items from the parking area to the walking path that will lead you to the sites. Note - the second tent will never be rented to another party during your stay, it is only rented to the same group/reservation.

Wow, this was such a cool campsite. It's located behind a renovated barn turned record store/event venue and its as cool as it sounds. Monica and her husband has turned this into a true experience -- whether you want to hang out by the waterfall, explore the surrounding areas, or even hang out at the record store, you truly have it all. I can't wait to stay again!

Locust Grove Glamping Tent Site
Magical site. Highly recommend.
This is a very beautiful and unique site. I highly recommend it. It was clean, well maintained and very easy to navigate. The host gave extremely clear directions and left a wagon for us to haul our gear the short distance from the parking area to the site. The tent itself was very clean and spacious. The site has a nice, clean outhouse, a picnic table, a firepit and a grill. It overlooks a beautiful stream complete with a waterfall. It was definitely deep enough in spots to take a dip if wanted. The site is secluded and felt extremely private, which is important to me. There is a huge common area and apparently, they hold some events here. I would love to come back and check one of them out. It's all so well groomed, well-lit and thoughtfully laid out. I would imagine it's a very good time. There are some really neat LED lights scattered about the property. A cool blue glowing bridge, some trippy drippy Christmas light things, a random red thing that definitely got a "wtf is that thing" out of me (in a good way). All adding to a fun, wonderful, unique experience especially under magical conditions. There was another site on the opposite side of the creek from the site we stayed in. It would be perfect to rent both with a group of friends. All in all this is a great site. If you're looking for rugged, raw nature it might not be the right pick. But if you want a unique, absolutely beautiful and peaceful site, close to towns and easy to navigate I highly recommend.
