The entire site is beautiful! The hosts did a fabulous job creating each site. Blair was very accommodating when I canceled my initial reservation due to an approaching storm. When I rebooked, she recommended another excellent site. I would recommend TangleWood to anyone and we will be back!

A Shady Creek View
This was an absolutely beautiful site. I've never been camping before and after researching some places, I found this gem. I could not have made a better decision. The site was clean, quiet, and I felt like I had the best spot in the mountains to camp! I missed it even before I left. I will be back!

Our host Blair was super helpful and knowledgeable. The land was amazing and although the creek was super low this time of year due to lack of rain however it was still beautiful as ever. My groups only recommendation would be a dumpster to dispose of trash on the way out and maybe not rocks for the tent set up area.... and I must say he has one of the cleaniest porter potties I've ever used in my life lol I'd never thought I'd ever be saying that but it smelled pleasant and was bug free, the solar light outside of it only worked one of the nights but luckily we had plenty of lanterns so we could find the porter potty which was super close to our site...Overall we had an amazing time and Blair responded in a timely manner and was able to stop what he was doing to bring us wood when we needed. Thanks Blair!! We would recommend Tanglewood 9 out of 10!!

Great experience with Blair!
The space was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and it was accurate to the pictures and description upon booking. Blair was very responsive and friendly. I burnt through all my wood by like 8pm one night and I asked him if I could buy more and he responded immediately. I felt like he actually really cared about his land and our experience camping on it. Would highly recommend booking one of Blair’s properties.
Two things to note about this site is that we were close to a road but there wasn’t really any traffic so it wasn’t a nuisance at all, so if you’re looking to get like fully immersed into the woods this spot isn’t remote like that. He does have well water and a very clean bathroom which was amazing. Secondly, there were other campsites nearby so we could hear other people but they were respectful and our site was naturally walled off with trees / vegetation so again it wasn’t a nuisance at all for us.
Overall had an amazing weekend tucked away in a quiet part of Blair’s property!
