Our 8-acre farm, nestled on a rural-ish road in Perry, Ohio, is a haven of natural abundance. With over 300 fruit and nut trees alongside various perennial plants, the landscape offers a picturesque blend of verdant fields, scattered woods, and a serene pond. Ample space for several tents and parking is available, ensuring a comfortable stay for visitors. Guests can enjoy immersing themselves in the tranquility of rural life. Additionally, our location offers easy access to outdoor adventures and is situated 2.5 miles from Interstate 90. Just 3 miles to the north is Lake Erie and the scenic Lake Erie Bluffs park, with bird watching, biking, and swimming opportunities. The Grand River, a state designated scenic and wild river is 2 miles south, and beckons with its kayaking and canoeing possibilities during high water seasons. The area is rich in natural wonders, with numerous parks waiting to be explored. Conveniently located just 30 minutes east of Cleveland and 2.5 miles from the I-90, our farm serves as an ideal base for both urban excursions and rural retreats, offering the best of both worlds.

Beautiful property! You will hear trains frequently if you’re into that type of bedtime lullaby, and the owners were laid back and kind. A cute layover en route to our destination and we’d stay again

A nice place to camp. Was a bit humid at first (August), but with a fan I ultimately got cool and slept like a baby. Good frog sounds from the pond. Hosts very responsive by phone. Took a moment to orient on the property until connecting but nice private situation ultimately - rear field. No toilets … nbd. There is a grocery right up the road if you need provisions. And had a good morning swim @ the bluff the following morning. Good scene if you need a place to pitch en route somewhere.

Great Stay, Beautiful Property

There are wide open spaces on this property and a nearby pond. It was peaceful to walk next to the groves each evening. I accidentally started camp in the wrong spot, but the property owners were gracious about it, allowing me to move after a short break. I was not disturbed by anyone, and during my time there, I saw no workers in the nearby grove. It felt safe to me as a solo traveler. The train noise mentioned by others is infrequent. I was able to leave some items set up at the campsite each day without fearing they would disappear. This site is twenty minutes from Erie Bluffs or Kirtland.

Great place!

We loved tent camping on the land! Margaret was very responsive and kind.It was easy to find and very peaceful besides the train passing by which didn’t bother us at all.I highly recommend this spot and will for sure be returning.

Hickory camp

Overall nice experience. Hard to find where to camp especially in the dark. Not a lot of amenities and the train was pretty loud at night. Otherwise a nice property and great stop right off the highway
