Whether you're a mountain or snow sports enthusiast, a digital nomad, or vanlifer exploring the best of Oregon, you won't want to miss a visit here at our Mt Hood Vanlife Oasis. We are conveniently located right off the 26 just outside of downtown Sandy, directly in between Portland and the peak of Mt Hood. Sitting at about 1100 feet elevation, we don't get a ton of snow, but a ton of snow is just minutes away as you head east towards the summit. Situated on a hill overlooking forested land with a creek and ponds, "The Blue Barn" at Camp Cedar Creek not only offers vanlifers a safe place to park and beautiful view, but a large communal space with all the amenities. Designed specifically for digital nomads and vehicle dwellers, The Barn has a dedicated co-working space, communal kitchen, two bathrooms with showers, laundry, fire pits, games and more!

I’m inspired by this place and I want to build a pole barn vanlife sanctuary of my own some day. Super cool spot by the river 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to go back

Great stay to catch up with a hot shower, stretch out our legs and have a safe place to park while in the city but yet feel like your in the forest still. Thank you for having us!

What an amazing, magical place! Not only do you have access to a lush, green forest and river, but the barn provided a perfect spot to work quietly upstairs (while overlooking the forest), or hang with other visitors in the shared kitchen. Wifi was also super speedy in the barn (up and downstairs).

Perfect for Vanlife Refresh +Work!
A true gem of a spot! This is the perfect retreat for Vanlifers or nomads looking for a break from the road and kick back in nature to relax, meet friends and / or get some dedicated work done! It has a beautiful, coworking space, with comfy couches/desks and speedy Wi-Fi, as well as a beautiful communal kitchen and a gym area 💪. My fav activity was a daily trip up the hill to a lookout of Mt Hood, followed by a dip in the creek 🗻🤿. Plus, some of the best mountain biking in the PNW is only 10 mins down the road at Sandy Ridge! I’ve been looking around for a while for a camp spot perfect for remote workers on the road, and this is it. Kind of a hostel vibe meets WeWork… in the woods! Thanks Lauren, Jeremy and Juno 🐶, for the hospitality. We’ll be back!

Solo Female Traveler Approved!
Had a lovely night camping at Cedar Creek and will 100% be back soon! There was a beautiful barn available for use that is basically the vanlifer's dream. Big kitchen (with an oven!), laundry, clean showers with good water pressure, wifi, and really nice coworking spaces. I was able to get a bunch of work done, meet some cool fellow van lifers, meal prep, clean my van, do a load of laundry, and recharge before hitting the road again. I also felt completely safe sleeping here, as the site was well off the road, down a gated driveway, and around other vanlifers/families/digital nomads staying at the Hipcamp. The setup is very professional and clearly designed for nomads and vanlifers. Total hidden gem. The property owners were also super chill and made me feel at home, and their dog, Juno, was the cutest greeter. Next time I have an important client call or just need a breather from the road, I'm for sure coming here.
